To be fair it was about as 'good' a Tigers win we could have hoped for - winning by only 2 certainly doesn't help their points differential. When they scored 2 tries in about as many minutes I was worried it was about to turn into a spanking!

Other than the Tigers losing last night, the 2 point win is probably the next best result for us. A win would be bloody fantastic tonight, but it we are to lose then we really need to keep it respectable. The Tigers are still -42, meaning they still have a lot of ground to make up and they're playing a Souths team next week that should be back to full strength. I know we can't rely on anything to go our way, but the odds are in our favour.
To be honest how many of us would have taken 8th spot if it was offered to us before the season kicked off! In a perfect world it would have been nice to be in the top 4 but after 7 years without finals beggars can't be choosers!
I know we're not quite there yet but our destiny is firmly in our own hands!

Friday night home games are fantastic and should be a superb way to start the weekend, we have just failed to make the best of the opportunity. What's the problem from your angle?

We are 2 points out of 4th position yet still not safe in the 8.
We have been tremendously inconsistent lately so much so that the fans nightmares about late season implosions are starting to replace dreams about making the GF and possibly even winning it.
Shaun Johnson is still confident and tells the fans not to worry because he and the senior players believe that the team is actually a top 4 outfit.
Tonight Shaun gets a chance to prove it.
The rest of the season starts today.We are in a good position even though we haven't played that well lately.Play well for the whole 80 minutes and to our full potential and let's see if we can go to the next level...........time to release the full power of the mighty but usually disappointing and underperforming NZ Warriors.
Time to bring it home and give us something to really cheer about for a change.

Yeah I'm nervous as hell about these games, Panthers always have had a knack of beating us when we need to win especially at the back end of the year. Plus I'm coming up to Auckland next week for the Raiders game and I'd rather enjoy my night and weekend in celebration of our first finals appearance in forever than be a melted pile of depressed goo if they leave it to the final round to kick themselves out of the eight.

Please just win tonight. With all due respect to the Cleary clan of course.

I had a good feeling about the Knights game, we won. I had a bad feeling about the Bulldogs, we lost.
