I love roger as a player. 100 per cent effort and passion.
But his passing game aint great.
Worries me Roger at 6.
Hard bro.

Worries me too. However, I guess, I am coming around to what other posters are saying about it being the end of the season and me might as well give it a crack, the ole nothing to lose.

I would feel very differently, had we a controlling half, that was well gelled into this side, had we a backline used to good service, used to knowing what plays are being run.

But for people who actually wanted Roger at six all a long, I would caution them by saying hey, we have had clunky halves and backline moves all season, throwing Roger in there is not going to change that.

Of course I hope it goes really well, I hope to be even modestly happy, since the bar has been set so low.

And, if it goes well, does anyone feel confident that it will remain the set up?

Walsh and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck machinations showed that they are playing people in next years roles not this season, and Roger is gone next year.

I will be impressed if we do not see Roger Tuivasa-Sheck dying with the ball on the fifth tackle play multiple times this game.

My only concern with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck #6 is knowing when to pass vs when to run.

Awareness is key. He can sometimes only see one direction, which is straight ahead without looking at the options around him.

Definitely a different mindset to playing wing and FB. Those positions are made to finish. Put your head down and go.

#6 is there to organise and create. Great challenge for him.
He'll be okay in that sense. Most fullbacks can play 6 in this day and age and he played 6 the majority of the game against storm the first game and passed quite well.

What are we expecting from him as a 6? I'm not expecting him to be this great organiser, I'm expecting him to do what he does best, run hard at the line, get quick play the balls and generally be a nightmare with ball in hand in a better part of the field. Chad can do all the organising.

I’m expecting a Panthers win. But heck, it wouldn’t surprise me if somehow we won this.

we seem to respond when our backs are to the wall - and it’s firmly planted there after the last 3 games we’ve butchered.

finally we have a decent team on the field.

what do I want to see? Mistake free football - no shit penalties, no dropped balls. Attacking intent and some fearlessness.

whilst the panthers are a great side, they are beatable. They are not the storm. A couple of players out and they do come back to the pack.

it’s a long shot - but right now all I want is a decent performance and if the footie gods are willing, 2 points.

Win this week - season is alive. Lose? We’re on life support.

It's on life support bro, somebody call the power company to make sure the bill was played this month! It's plugged in but no power!!! Also does anyone have any lithium 2450's? My calculator is dead also.

With life support technology, we have the ability to keep people alive much longer than we used to. But there are cases where difficult decisions about life support may rest with a person's loved ones. Once the brain activity of a person stops, there's no chance of recovery

brains stopped working four rounds ago bro so there I is your answer.

All the changes that happened yesterday have not changed today. Api is now on the bench with Mitch Kenny. No changes for Penrith other than that.

If we fail to show up today you know who I’m going after….

the cattle is there now…

I am sure NB is quaking in his boots.

The problem this year has not been a lack of will to win, they are trying, but the halves are shit, the worst place to be shit in a Rugby code game.

Today they don't even have a halves pairing....what Cattle?

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck at 6 is the gamechanger, you will have to eat your words after the game

Saw Rog put a nice grubber in the ingoal for a six again in a recent game, that convinced me he might be able to manage a game given the opportunity. Hope it's a close one at least.

I hate seeing Roger suffer, he can't hide the pain we all feel after another crushing loss, but at least he always looks like he gives a shit. Good luck fullas, Warriors 12, Panthers 50.

Wouldnt expect Rogers game to change too much today, it'll be run first look to pass 2nd. Reece will play up in the line alot at 2nd receiver anyway and will also be the option kicker.

Also doubt Roger will be stuck on one side of the field in the traditional split halves system, still expect him to roam, difference now he's a lot closer to the action and it'll be easier for him without him having to hold his line on the wing especially in the red zone.

Logic wouldve said just play Reece at 6 and Roger at the back but they've well n truly committed to Reece at the back. Regardless i dont mind the change up cause there needed to be one.......would be very surprised if its instant cohesion.....then again ill probably be shitted off more if its a success cause it shouldve been tried weeks ago when we were reallistically still a shot.
