Last year the game against Manly in Auckland was when Johnson broke his foot. If I were Johnson, and I'm glad I'm not, I would find this too difficult to pass up and ask to sit this game out, we wouldn't want him having dejavu and breaking his foot again to be out for the rest of the season. But like I said I'm not Johnson, and he might be wanting to get through this game and clear the ghosts from his past. He might also keep himself in his shell, which might also not be good for us if the razzle dazzle play is needed. He's the spark most of the time.

But last week we found that in Tui, and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Luke. Let's hope they continue to spark the razzle dazzle ness that I love so much.

Warriors by 8 and the old bald guy in our side scores a try. Johnson scores 2 and says up you Manly but converting everything, kicking a penalty and a FG.

The thing is now we're finally getting back to the point where we have the players in the backs who can pull it off where for a while we didn't and our best option was kick it to Manu.

This is the thingy-dingy. All very well saying "Guys, this is how we're going to play!" Trying to build a gameplan around a roster that - with the best will in the world - won't be able to implement that gameplan won't get you anywhere in the long run. The Bob Te Manu (as someone on here named it, more power to them!) was our way of moulding the gameplan to our vast array of skills (sacasm mode is back off, thank you for watching) that we had at that time. Further example, The Grind. We might be able to do that for a half or so of footy, but no way Jose is that a viable gameplan for a month of footy or longer.

No fat arse Martell to fall on his ankle this time.

Hopefully he hasn't given it as much thought as you have.
Actually at one stage last week he did get pulled down from behind- got up no worries. Thought at the time that would've done him the world of good.

Okay u people.
Ur the coach today how do you want the team to play...eg 3 runs up the middle then play it wide.
I hear all the time the coach has a f@#ked up game play so what would be yours?

I would be hitting it up hard for 4 tackles then switch between kick in behind or flick pass outside with kick back to posts.

If I was the coach I'd tell them to run it hard up the guts and then spin it wide when they're not looking.

And no dodgy offloads inside our own 40, unless we're ahead by 40 and are feeling sorry for them. We are the nice guys of the NRL after all.

Other than that, tackle hard, score lots trys, love your team mates and celebrate under the posts..
