Funny how so many of us are nervous about this game, we have been around so long now we could be playing their under 8’s and we would still have a sense of anxiety before the game!
It’s a game we should win, it’s tailor made for Kodi to put our back rowers through some gaps and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to make his mark.
I’m really looking forward to seeing Tom Ale and his running game- not much has been mentioned of him.

There are 2 teams that no matter where they are on the ladder always worry me, and we’re playing them today and next week!

They will have to manage his minutes well, he s well short of a gallop.

They did a good job with Ben Murdoch Masila, he was really short on fitness back in round one.

Not expecting too much from Evans till he has had a game or three under his belt.

150m off 12 hitups in Qcup last weekend for Evans too, need him to be as dominant as he can be with Addin Fonua-Blake out. crazy that we can have 7 unavailable but still be a genuine chance to win a game. not sure if thats a compliment for our depth or how bad manly are lol

Ohhh I would actually put DCE above Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

Yeah, it's definitely a toss-up.

Much as we can't get a good read on Roger Tuivasa-Sheck because we don't have the guys to put him into gaps, Manly probably can't get a read on DCE because they don't have the guys to put in the gaps he creates.

Kane said in an interview in the off season he wanted to be a starting prop. I really want him to take this opportunity to push his case.

Yep, can take some confidence from the fact we faced a better Manly side last season at Brooky on a wet miserable night. We were under strength then too, Kodi had a solid game and we managed to grind out a win.
