Correct. But whatever happens I have us winning 6 of the following 8 games after round 4 up till the bye.

Can't wait for ABF and Klemmer to clash. I seem to remember there's been some bad blood between these two

As expected it's going to be heaving come kickoff. Keep it in tight, complete our sets to a high percentage as we did last week, and we give ourselves every chance. Kicking game from the halves will need to improve ten fold this week. Egan needs to have a few nice stabs putting it deep in the corner, popping out from DH to take the pressure off.

This should be a slug fest war of attrition. Our blueprint from last week should translate well, just opposite sides of the weather spectrum.

Ball kicked long and deep behind them
short grubbers behind the line early tackles on occasion in good field position
Communication on Defence, keep the structures
pressure on ball carrier
Wings stay wide and expect the ball behind them

If the Forwards cancel each other out then it is what the backs can bring in these wet conditions, that should suit our guys.

I think our bench is more potent

How well each team clears up and returns the ball early tackles should suit us.

Pearce is a good kicker so keep the pressure on him.

Very winnable game.

Picking 24 10 score to the warriors. Really need this game as the next two are massive, shut Knights forwards and we win that simple.

We win this game and we go into those top 4 clashes with confidence. That is important for us. to snag an unlikely win in one of those 2 games. Then we have fun with the lower placed sides and give our selves good foundation as we did in 2018. But lose today and go to 1-3, even those games against the bottom four afterwards may become losable. Gotta win this one boys.

Round 2 Late Mail: Sironen, Mann, Taumalolo out, Burgess OK​

That headline gave me a fright until I saw it was Curtis but then when I stopped and thought about it seriously, with all the talk of concussion it does sit a little uncomfortable with me that Bailey is playing tonight.

I missed Egan's head knock so can't say how bad that was but it's a long season and as much as winning is everything you only get one head/brain and its quite important for life things away from the NRL.
Both players so important in an important game tonight but does anyone else feel the same?

On tonight though, a genuine 50/50 game isn't it? So many good battles in the middle but hard to be confident against that Knights side, even without Ponga, but also right to think we are a serious winning chance.
Maybe our prop wings and hardworking fullback will be the edge we need on a very wet Knight

Have seen that tweet, I'm more talking about a moral obligation to look after players who are too brave for their own good. I'm aware he's passed all the tests but looking after your talent/staff should also be a priority.
I'm not saying it's wrong, I want those two in the side but it kind of makes me feel a little uncomfortable at the same time. Maybe the Boyd Cordiner situation now has me on edge or something...
