I went with a Janfin for my score prediction. I think that we can get the win but I don't think we will smash them. Of course I would love to be proved wrong
And because I like Janfins posts :D
Because they post once a week, the same thing every time?

Hoping the nerves have washed off Berry and that he can show some of his attack this game, hopefully he gets some early ball. Anyone know who are the speedsters in our squad ? Walsh will be in the top 3
Not being a smart Alec here but I think we can work out who the speed players are without 'inside' knowledge.

There are only three of them. Montoya Roger Tuivasa-Sheck Walsh...that is it.

Over a short distance I suspect Walsh has the acceleration over the other two, then Montoya, and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck last.

Paul Turner and Kodi are special mentions from a standing start...however Walsh would blow those two away.

I hope Walsh has a cracker Don't want to jinx the kid but over time he will be a warriors superstar.Bugger probably already have.

Yes because they have been doing that for twenty years. Unlike all the fair weather fans that have come and gone, they are true keepers of the faith.

I wouldn't worry.

The fact he can perform every skill in Rugby league apart from tackling better than 99% of all Warriors players past and present probably insulates him from the Mocker.

Is Roger Tuivasa-Sheck really that fast ? I know he used to be.

Bugger, can we not play regular first graders at the same time for the sake of our defence ffs?

I know lots do not like the Fusitua, but at least our pattern can consolidate with the same players every week.

That being said, excited for Kosi, go mate tackle hard and tackle lots, hold the ball, you only have two jobs.

Kosi to debut - Fusitua is out again
Interesting to note Fusitua was training with the team in the captains run yesterday:

I wonder if he pulled up lame OR he was always going to be dropped for Kosi and they did the same as what they did with Walsh last week to avoid media attention.

Who knows...

Brown is ruthless, before the Warriors he was and has always been a ruthless coach. That is not praise, sometimes that back fires badly, just saying here that the players should be aware the nice man who is running the team is a bit of a hatchet merchant.

It is starting to look like Fusitua running round like a flapper has cost him his spot in the team. And even if that is not the case here, Brown is going to tear apart any so so types at this club.

I keep saying it but look at his track record, the first high praise he earned as an NRL coach was dumping most of his players at Newy.

Warriors beware, if you piss off Brown your career is gone at the Warriors.

Pretty much the only thing I like about him coaching.

He was in the nines I think didn't get on for much if I remember he missed a few tackles but he only played around 10 minutes. Turner looked quicker than him who was also in the nines squad

Look forward to Kosi. He better be good considering the players we have released over the last few months for these so called "super star young backs" we have......

For me, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has to play FB. Its NOT in the best interests of the Warriors making the 8 if Roger Tuivasa-Sheck plays on the wing. Brown should be doing whatever it takes to get the 2 points, each and every round. In this case it is getting speed in the ruck and improving the quality of the halves, which Walsh clearly would do.

No more exscuses, performance based retention means winning every game possible by putting players in whatever position will produce the most likely result of a win. Mr Brown, fix it.

Anyway, I still think we should win given some players back, some lost again, but overall despite our weak spine, our forwards will get is to the redzone enough with little enough errors that even Kodi will have enough attempts to put players over the try lines.

In saying that, I thought this vs Newc and Manly.

But outside that BS send off last week which really controlled the match fate, we played pretty good and both debut players went well.

We by all right, "Should" win this.

So true - and I’m all for it, so long as the young talent he promotes understand that it’s a privilege to be handed a first grade jersey and they must fight for it every single week.

Fusitua has all the tools to be a top tier wing in the NRL. He has been close to it in the past.

Maumalo, while not as gifted, gives it his all more often than not - even if his defence could do with some sharpening up.

Excited to see how Kosi goes - don’t know squat about him but ready to be pleasantly surprised.
