Historically these are the games we fumble

And 2 confident teams with a good start to the season coming head to head

To win each team needs to stick to their, style and brand of footy and trust their new found identity…. Who can do that for 80 mins

They have some strike and a killer high bomb

We have cohesive pack mentality where the individual knows each role which is kept simple and when each player completes their role the team has strong D, high possession and completion rates

We have an engine room that will go through them all day

Eagan out is a massive, but lussick only needs to do his role

Our bench is weapon in itself and doggies forwards and bench is underdone

The big one for me is cheap tickets to full the stadium, that my friends is worth another 2 players

A win is a must. 2 points and we kick clear of those teams having a bad start to the season. At least we aren't like the Tigers. Stuck bottom of the table.

The Dogs have raced to 26 points early in the first half in their last 2 games. Both of these - their opposition were feeble in the first halves (Storm / Tigers). Then the Dogs fell away badly late in games and leaked tries. Based on that - we start well (Don't concede in the first 5-10 mins) like we have done....get in the grind and when the benches are introduced... we should really take it up a level. We know we get stronger as the game goes... they know that they have a knack for dropping off. As long as the score is tight... or we are leading - doubt can creep into their minds.... and we pull away.

Basically - they are like the Warriors of old - start with promise but can get taken over late in games. We are the old Storm.... we know our roles, we know we have a supreme bench, we trust in our coach and the game plan... however, we are missing our Cameron Smith today.

We can win if we can keep doing the basics and stick to it. But the Doggies have shown that they can get it right too so I'm expecting plenty of points but not a blow out to either side. Warriors by 12 and under.
And don't throw any long passes to the right wing. I was going to say no look passes but really no long passes at all. The Fox will be there waiting.
