I think Matagi can potential be a Masoe or G. Burgess type player he is a beast! I hope ME gives him more chances. But if Packer is fit pick Packer for the Bunnies. Is Vatuvei out?

He will have a precautionary x-ray but medical staff believe he might have escaped with a bad contusion.

Easy for some to say that the better team lost today (Broncs*cough*forum*cough)....but how many of those games have we played this year where we've been pipped at the post?...I will take the wins however ugly or unconvincing as it may seem to fans other than Warriors....Peace

Ugly win but we'll take it.....game we shouldve lost but this balances out the games we shouldve won and lost....good teams grind out wins...flat or not

I was thinking during the game yesterday that having a super sub type hooker would have been awesome. You know someone like a Hohiaia or Henderson even a Lewis Brown to dart out of dummy half and make some meters up the middle of the park.

Could play for 20 - 30 minutes and give Friend a bit of a rest, similar to what Godinet was doing but someone with a bit more hooking nous. Could Havilli even fit that role? I know people don't like his organisation but he could definitely bust some games open with his dummy half runs.

Also how much longer can Friends body take with the 80 minute games and his deteriorating body?

I'd be too worried about the middle getting torn up, no use having that situation if you haven't got the ball and our backs are relieving just fine, Ngani would have been more than useful yesterday..
We were flat from the bye and the line speed itself created issues giving the Broncos to much width, which created positional problems for Kevin having to follow the ball,
The Broncos line on the other hand was just awesome, created real pressure on the play makers and helped neutralise our forwards..Great completions from both teams and an outstanding kicking game from the Broncs, but the line speed helped that hugely.
A very good win for us, similar in character to the good Panthers win a few years back.
