Any bets on who's going to come back and be outside skinfold guidlines/bleep test guidlines?

You'd think with only one day before the weekend (assume there's no weekend training?), tomorrow all the bean counters would be getting those figures in the system pronto so Mr Wiki knows which players he can torture the most starting 7PM Sharpish MondayTime.
I would usually say Hiku. He's always a chubby 😂 But , I saw a few photos of him on Instagram last week training. And it's the best shape I've ever seen him in.

When you type in James Moran(strength and conditioning) the page has a story headed "Bowen joins Blackhawks as Meninga Cup coach". In that story it says James Moran has joined the Warriors but that story is dated in October 2018. Has this been on the cards with Corvo for a while? Also looking at the staff is Nathan Cayless not with us anymore ?

I think James is the wrestling coach. Also Nathan Cayless name has been taken from the warriors site so he must of left

I'd have said no to Corvo, too. Would Corvo have accepted SK stepping into his role?

And let's not forget that "Training The House Down" doesn't automatically mean "Good On The Field". Blair might well be a great trainer, but that's not really shown on the field, has it?

Surely there could of been some middle ground if there is any truth to this rumor seems a shame to loose such a high quality trainer

I heard that Corvo wanted more say in the team decisions ie. the hard trainers getting rewarded with a shot of first grade. (Think CN-K)
SK said no.
Corvo walks.

Nah this isn’t true. I know why he was let go,but this isn’t the reason. He fell out with some staff, and hasn’t changed his pre season training routine, like, at all. Ever. The games changed since his time at broncos, yet he hasn’t changed.

Yeah it’s true senior players were concerned about corvo. But I think that’s fair. Training monotony and boredom is very real. It takes a good coach to work hard whilst having fun. And he wasn’t prepared to change, anything. Sorry but my opinion, good riddance. He’s a pretty weird bastard.

Hard work doesn’t always mean effective work. Does running 50 x 100m sprints make you faster? Not at all. It makes you fucked, but it’s doesn’t make you better. There’s a place for hard work, but it needs to be sprinkled with effective work. And corvo wasn’t prepared to change anything. He’s not as good as people make out.

Another one bites the dust

I had just convinced myself that Brian Smith was the one glimmer of hope to some long term improvement at the Warriors. So I guess we are back to SK running the mad house till round 6 or 7 till he gets the sack and Todd Payton/Tony Iro takes over for the rest of the season, after which we score a massive boon with signing John Cartwright or Neil Henry to lead us to El Dorado.

I'm "this" close to throwing in the towel.
