Hopefully the head strength and conditioning position gets filled soon. Its the critical time of year for that position, its not just a turn up and tell the boys to run around the field or do 3x10 on the bench press there would be a lot of planning involved. If they come from overseas they will need to rely on the local staff for areas to take the boys to get a change of scenery like Bethells or people to use for wrestling sessions etc.

Beale and Roache probably won't be ready until the season is underway. Any training they can do would be restricted to rehab or upper body work.

Harris has been out for a while. Hopefully he starts training soon. As a guy who is usually involved in internationals he could get a rare full or close to full pre-season.

Geezus; bit of an oversight not having a head of performance at the beginning of preseason.
I suppose this gives them an excuse for next season - already on the back foot.
When will we stop being a complete clusterfuck. 😩

We'll stop being a clusterfuck when we become a professional league club in attitude instead of dollars.
So Rizzah sadly the answer to your question is likely NEVER .
The good news is you can take over the pre-season training as you are far more intelligent than the current dropkicks.
I suggest you take them to the Redwoods. There's a 10- 12 hour track with steps like canyons. Perfect - run the b'stards till they drop.
You of course as Head of Performance are exempt from this exercise. I'll leave it to you & the forum to organise I've got a plane to catch. :D:cool:😃😁😆

Fuck them. They made the decision to back certain players over Corvo. They made the decision, they live by it

Its times like these where I remember a good ole saying..... The fish rots from the head down....

Any bets on who's going to come back and be outside skinfold guidlines/bleep test guidlines?

You'd think with only one day before the weekend (assume there's no weekend training?), tomorrow all the bean counters would be getting those figures in the system pronto so Mr Wiki knows which players he can torture the most starting 7PM Sharpish MondayTime.

I wonder how many have come back out of shape today knowing they are not going to see corvo? If any are out of shape today I'd say your not starting the season even if your fit!
Here’s an idea out off left field. Re-sign players during the year with an “out clause” for the club. If you come back for pre-season with a fat index over what you had before the break, your contract is torn up. Start letting these guys know that they’re accountable.

My own personal fitness journey is making progress for my comeback.

Started about a month ago.
And now I am actually running the 2 km's for endurance.(jogged 20meters and walked the rest in the beginning. )
Was 114kg and now 111.
Not much there.
But nearly unfit to play wing SK.

Nice work. We have a guy on our mine site who use to train the Socceroos and he swears by the fact that half a kilo a month is the ideal amount to lose for long term success so you are tracking well.
