Any idea where he rates speedwise with other Warriors/NRL players?
All I've seen of him is secondary school 7's footage which can be misleading. He pretty much scorched them, but hard to compare considering the standard of opposition.
He's doing his speed tests with the Warriors this week I believe. You're right, he's got major wheels, is really strong and a balanced runner too.
He scored some outstanding tries in Fox this year on the wing using footwork, following up on kicks and even kick/chase.

Man I hope Todd Payten brings a different dynamic to the Warriors attack next year. If he can make it click could be really exciting! And another pre season under Alex Corvo! Even better!

From what I've been told by those pulling recruitment strings at Warriors HQ he is very highly rated. Super humble kid who loves to work hard.
Been told Hayze loves to muck in as well. Something about those Rotorua High boys. They are taught well.
