fucking tamaki and his ultra homoerotic leather daddy gang.
i saw him in the news sooking that tax payer money has been used to repaint the one in gisborne.
i’d have thought tax payer money was always used to fix/undo vandalism?

good on ol swarbrick too.

Honestly think the media shouldn’t publicise this sort of rubbish.

It’s not news and better ignored to take the oxygen/ platform away from them.

Don’t like the gang ban. Next they will be coming for the Boy Scouts with all their patches!
It's not them coming for the boy scouts mate, it's not drag queens either. We all know who it is, the ones who don't pay any tax.

marv. I don't know any Maori who don't see Tamaki as a dangerous parasite grifting off our most vulnerable, as this kuia says, come and get your people.

ah shit sorry bro, i don’t have facebook to be able to see that.

i didn’t mean to suggest tamaki represents anyone but himself, he has a grip of hapless followers that will happily bully trans kids/ do burnouts on their big scary m.bikes, paint over rainbow crossings, give their kids lunch money to the church and be generally menacing/bullying “children of god”.

worth it though i guess if you’re seeking eternal fuckwitdom.

Hey, I know at least probably 20 plus and I haven’t lived in NZ for 16 years.
More I think of it speculating hundreds if not thousands in their congregations.
Not a member at all just saying what I see

1722 members according to the census, could be more. Yeah I don't know any, don't doubt you though.

A friend from school is deep in the Destiny Church. By all accounts it has been good for him. If their Man-UP sessions stop men from beating their wives then that is a positive.

I have joked in the past that my friend might be there for financial advice as he's posted how due to the help of his pastor he now has a housing portfolio of x number of houses.

I'm not a fan of when he has posted showing their love and Tamaki is standing in a floor fill of cash people have thrown up there. I get that there would be a positive for a lot of them attending. Just there would be quite a few that it would be causing a financial strain on.

Then you have Tamaki living a lavish life style.

If the donation/ money is an issue isn’t that the same with most churches and tithing?

Isn’t tithing just a form of tax that is used to support the church community?

If we have an issue with tithing, we must have an issue with government taxes and be pro Nationals tax cuts!

Destiny’s tithing seems to have benefitted Tamaki but isn’t he the same as most politician getting rich for being our leaders? And as a private church isn’t that the members problem?

Just because you don’t see Luxon or Jacinda on a Harley doesn’t mean they don’t earn more than Tamaki 🤣

Yawn… it was a key election pledge.

If nothing else this govt has been consistent on delivering exactly what it’s promised and the left has complained the whole way.

When the left default is to complain about everything that message just gets lost in the negativity and comes across as sour grapes.

Delivery on policy should be the expectation not a shock 🤣

❌ kiwibuild
❌ airport light rail
❌ road to zero
❌ 3 waters
✅ tax cuts

Refreshing isn’t it!

Different election cycle….. same old crap.

Back in 2017, the right were attacking the new Labour led government for not delivering anything substantial within the first six months and spending most of the time repelling acts and policies put in place by the previous National government

Go forward six years….. same crap…. Different players. National getting attacked by the left for not delivering anything substantial within the first six months.

Same arguments against the government… same Defence said of the government…. just different sides attacking and different sides defending.

Why? Because the previous government announced a Budget earlier in the election year and that’s the money the departments have to work with. Until the first budget is announced, big spending projects can’t be fully implemented.

And, in just under three or six years time, National will be attacking a new Labour led government for non delivery within the first six months as the new government struggles to implement it’s policies under a National budget.

Like I said….. same old crap…. Just one team has the ball and the other team has to wait at least three more years until it gets another turn.

TBH, the whole thing is just boring!!!!

Saying one party is better with the economy than another while pointing out one iteration of that party. It is the same as saying Labour is bad for the economy due to the last Labour government. Where Helen Clark and Michael Cullen were totally different in terms of managing the economy.

Each party inherits different conditions from the last party or from the global situation.

Robertson had a huge financial hole in his figures when they came in as well.

For statements like one party being better than another it would require long term trends. Even then it would probably need to account for what they inherited and global situations.

Funnily enough I agree (not sure about the Robertson thing, I haven't read up on that) - but there exists the myth that National are better economic managers, which is why I mentioned it.

New Zealand can't afford tax cuts. And the said cuts benefit the well off more than anyone.

We certainly can't borrow to make them happen.

That's incredibly bad economic management.
