General Warriors Nyc Vs Bulldogs Nyc

Sorry, I didn't realise you had seen interviews. Of course answering questions in an interview is the most accurate way of getting to know the real person, and not the way they behave when they often forget they have a camera and effects mike picking up what they say and do. I'd also like to apologise for everyone that over analyzes.

Nah I agree would normally be an arrogant thing.
However we must remember - the season on the line he would be frustrated with calls (be right of wrong)

Taylor is a crack up when he runs, probably needs to play on a down hill field, heaps of power but looks like he needs some gravity to help get him up to his top speed.
Yeah, perhaps speed was the wrong word, but I like the way he winds up before his hit ups. Soemthing the first grade boys could learn from. It seems to get you further than standing still, waiting for the ball, and then trying to run at the fast approaching defence.

After hearing Ennis as the comments man in yesterdays game, (a bloke I can't stand as a footballer) and how professional he seemed to be, makes Kimmorleys lunatic ramblings tonight even more annoying. Fox sports please sack this brain dead dribbler.

The other thing I noticed he seems to be consciously picking out certain players to run at, then hits the turbo to hit "top" speed.

I actually didn't mind Kimmorley last year when commentating U20s, but this year he seems to be rabid against the Warriors.

When I watched yesterday I thought the arrogance/lack of respect of the dogs captain towards the refs was incredible, watching the replay today I was thinking the Warriors aren't the only ones with some young "stars" that need a good old fashion arse kicking to learn a little respect. Moses what ever his name is looks like a bloke that thinks his shit don't stink.

No doubt. That bloke was off his nut. The contempt he was showing, particularly on what was an absolute no brainer of a penalty (the bloke dove at the Warriors blokes legs and clipped him late), showed what a goose he is. Refs catch on that nonsense eventually and work out when a captains complaints are basically meaningless and moronic.

I'm surprised he was even going off at the ref, given it was the video ref who got massively assisted them with that pathetic high tackle penalty. Canterbury dude fell into the chest of the defender, and he gets a head high penalty.

That's why I thought we'd roll them in the second half. The luck, the amazing luck Canterbury were riding would come to an end. In terms of flukey tries, that try they scored were it bounced every which way but half-pie normal off a nothing kick was a thing of flukey beauty.

I have to say the whole team have impressed me since the towelling at the Dragons. Maybe they all had a cup of tea (kava) and a lie down to get their focus back or more likely the re-introduction of the Vulcan players has made the difference.

Whatever it is, the best part is they are not capitulating and keep trying right to the final whistle. Is Stacey Jones already there, assisting Ackland before he shoots the gap?

Observation: On the long range tries, Tui Lolohea is either the scorer or the first player there after the ball is dotted down. The kid is impressive.

Yes, Stacey is in charge of the junior elite development so he would be involved already with the NYC set up.

Tuimoala has excellent running skills. He's a rough diamond at 18. Going to NSW Cup next year I reckon would be a clever way to develop him - he needs to refine his organisational, kicking and defensive skills. No doubt when there's a broken line or a chance to receive an offload he is absolutely brilliant.

Also, is it just me or has Raymond Faitaler-Mariner developed big time since he's been in the NSW Cup? I think next year James Taylor needs time in NSW Cup, his development this year in NYC has been excellent, given the year before he really was an out of shape fosbury-fop. He looks extremely sharp now.

For mine the game felt like a backslide to Akland styles after last weeks re entry of key players from NSW cup and conceding only one try against the Roosters.
Not actually complaining just an obvservation , big relief we won.

After Locke and Johnsons eventual inconsistent end products it's hard to like the 20's too much anymore , the NSW cup holds more interest for me this year.

Some exciting players in that group for sure , the young Panthers look really slick and very fast for a 20's side , I'm really looking forward to Smith Jnr coaching the Vulcans next year and him and Elliot working with Jones to get some of that slick / structured look of the other NRL clubs.

We look great going forward up the middle , better than anyone , some polish ( I realise they are just kids ) but some consistency in the U20's would spell the beguining of a great era for NZ Rugby league.

Big GF Day with Chad Townsend featuring in the NSW cup final , I have to admit I'm more interested in that game than the 20's purely to see what the First grade side an call on immediately next year.

Ha! That's true. We've leant a few hard lessons us fans. Once bitten twice shy.

I actually thought that the game summed up why Akland was no longer wanted at the warriors. Fantastic in attack, Disgusting in defence. The interesting thing was that the Panthers were no different. I also thought that the Panthers professionalism (otherwise known as playing the ref) was disgusting. Milking timeouts, penalties by the bucket full. If I was the ref I would have given them the warning and started sending players off for professional fouls.

Full credit to a very wounded warriors side for hanging in there as long as they did. Also given the temperature that they reported during the game of Mid to low 30s full credit to all the players for being out there while the sun was still high in the sky
