General Warriors NSW Cup Reserve Grade 2023

We know that the Warriors will re-enter The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup in 2023 & will be coached by Slade Griffin. According to the current draw their home venues will be Navigation Home Stadium, The Trusts Arena, Mt Smart Stadium & North Harbour Stadium. Oddly enough they're also scheduled to play a "home" game against Penrith at HE Laybutt Field, Sydney (Blacktown Workers home ground) on the same weekend the NRL side visit Napier.
All up they play 11 curtain raisers for the NRL side (hopefully 12 if they move their game vs the Magpies from Mt Smart to Hamilton to align with the Wests Tigers match there).

Players who have been mentioned for this squad include Taine Tuaupiki, Brody Tamarua, Solomon Vasuvulagi, Patrick Sipley, Chase Bernard, Ollie Tuimavave, Eiden Ackland, Michael Sio & Freedom Vahaakolo along with our development player of Zion Maiu'u, Ali Leiataua, Demitric Sifakula & Jacob Laban.

What else do we know?

Brody Tamarua has signed with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls.

I know someone that knows him and he was telling me about his training over there. Think he got a better offer.

I checked it myself as he wasn't 100% sure on the team. Kept saying Manly.

Wouldn't Ronald Volkman play for them as well, if he has to wait patiently for first grade time?

I’m sure when sky go to set up at mt smart for a warriors game they will broadcast the NSW cup game just because they are already there, and its live sport, I used to really enjoy those U20 NSW First Grade Sunday triple headers.

Googling the draw the NSW cup is due to play at north harbour, Waitakere, Pukekohe as well as mt smart, so some games but not all home games would be a good guess.

They've broadcasted NSW Cup games at North Harbour before so I think there's a good chance

NSW Cup starts next weekend vs the Knights 2pm Saturday in Pukekohe.
Have they had any warm up matches as a team??
This is great with them playing these games in Pukekohe, is this the teams under the first grade team home ground?

Looks like they're spread between Pukekohe, Trusts Arena & North Harbour when they're not the curtain raiser

The NSW Cup team has been partially named (not sure why they only named half the team), but looks like Setu Tu is back with us (yay) and we are running someone called Geronimo Doyle at fullback.

I guess the rest of the team is filled out by those on the extended bench for the number 1 team?... Vailea not in that first team is just weird - don't like that

Reminds me of senior football down south back in the day when you were knocking on doors on Sunday morning to see who was coming to the game.
