General Warriors Jersey Flegg Cup 2018

Both Kakoi and Siave fell out of the Warriors Dvpt system and for different reasons. Neither of them felt confident with the system. There are others who felt the same way.

CT has been linked to the Roosters.

Note: Kelston Boys defeated MAGS tonight for the Auckland Secondary school champs.

Really good question. HUGE potential but given he's come in to JF late this year it won't be realized in 2018. 6'4", 120ish kg. He went missing for a bit after an ACL took out of league all of last year.

His brother though Siave has been killing it as well in the centres. The Blues were trying to get him earlier in the year but the Warriors managed to keep him.

Yeah I always found it funny how much bigger Kakoi is than Siave, Kakoi is just one seriously big unit and could still probably get bigger. Can you see both remaining at the Warriors long term?

Yeah Kakoi's a beast. He and Siave totally ripped up in the Nats a couple of years back for Southern Cross.

In fact in that year, apart from Kakoi, Nitoa Kairua and Talavou Gavet (Jimmy's bro) all BIG, quick and highly skillful 'powerhouse' second rower/props. Nitoa carved in the Nats tourney last year and literally bullied SC's rout over Kelston, 44-nil, in the final. He was a standout in that tourney. All of them around the 6'4", 118+ kg, big and powerful.

Talavou's still with the 20s, recovering from shoulder op. Nitoa went missing for a bit but has just resurfaced. Kakoi, whilst having a run for the JF team still needs some good people around him.

Siave's just awesome - Warriors are lucky to have him back. I'd love to see him against Kata. Hopefully he'll see some ISP next year.

Brian Smith's got his eye on all 4 of those boys now which is great. He loves big, strong skillful forwards which has been sadly lacking with the 20s last couple of years.

Any truth that two Mt Albert and Kiwi legends, were seen at an Eden Park box watching rugby union?

Surnames: Ackland and Cooper.

His agent confirmed tonight on Instagram that he and his brother Sione has signed with the roosters
This guy will be a superstar. And this club will never learn. These days you have to pull out all the stops to sign in demand juniors.

Of that group of forwards you mentioned. Talavou Gavet is the most talented. The trainer for the juniors said he's one of the most explosive athletes he's seen. He has the same sort of body type to his brother James Gavet, but is a different calibre athlete. Potential breakout player for the U20's this year before the injury.

I was a huge fan of both of the Togoiu bros when they were at Southern Cross. Haven't seen them play recently. Not entirely convinced Kakoi isn't more than just a big body, but he has all the potential obviously. If he can get the work ethic side of it right, then Im sure he'll be good. Just doesnt seem to have the same motivation that someone like Christian Tuipolotu has. Also, Siave was playing Blues U20's last year, does anyone know whether he decided to leave to join league or was he dropped? I think Siave needs to show more to his game than just his speed, talented player though nonetheless.
