Thats him. Played ISP cause school holidays meant he had a break....

He's on the bench again this week. Has he taken sean Mullaney's spot? I had high hopes for Mullaney as a Junior Kiwi, but he's been behind Tyler Slade (who seems like a Havili backrow/hooker hybrid) and now this Temple kid

Havn't watched a lot of the ISP this year but one player that has stood out for me is Tuimavave Gerrard. Have I just randomly caught him playing the odd good game or is he a future 1st grader.
He can put a hit on to. I'm not sure what game it was, But he took it upon himself to smack the shit out of the opposition when he came on. As we were getting physically dominated. They started dropping the ball keeping an eye out for him lol

There’s something impressive about mullany. He has a nice pass and makes good decisions. He seems to have a lot of time. Kinda Cameron Smith like
Yea I like him as well, I just double-checked and he isn't a development player or in the top 30 so he won't be able to get a run this year.

Good 34-22 win over the Mounties. Thought Keighran had another good game. He's starting to string together some improved performances. Is he a possibility of staying on for next season or have we given him no option beyond the end of year?

Was pleased to see Caleb Temple start at hooker. Rate this kid. Always plays with a lot of aggression and commitment. Will be interesting to watch him progress over the years.
Temple Kalepo looks the goods. Our hooker prospects are unreal at the moment. Tyler Slade, Sean Mullaney, Temple Kalepo and also this new 17 year old that’s burst onto the Jersey Flegg scene Taniela Otukolo, who had another two tries today

How would you rank them and which one do you feel is closest to first grade?

I thought Paul Turner showed a couple of times today at the back that he does possess some genuine pace. He's worth keeping an eye on.

All very different players.

Tyler Slade might be the closest to first grade because of his defence. He is also probably the least creative. I still think he is more of a ball playing lock in the future. But his base passing game and IQ are good enough where he can play hooker. The real benefit with him is that he would be an 80 min hooker. The other thing is that this guy is future captain material.

Temple Kalepo is a gun as others have said, and probably my favourite prospect of this group. He’s the most likely to make the first grade spot his own in the coming years. He just has it all and only 18 years old.

Sean Mullaney is also a good prospect. Played Junior Kiwis last year while he was with the Cowboys and then we poached him off them. Best passer of this group and strong organiser.

Taniela Otukolo might be the most explosive running hooker I have ever seen. This kid is Damien Cook/Jake Granville on steroids. Just absolutely terrorising defenders around the ruck in U20s right now. I had never heard of him a couple months ago but he’s been dominant in the few games I’ve seen him in at only 17 years old. He could possibly be the best of this group - I just haven’t seen enough of him.

If I had to rank them I would go 1. Temple Kalepo 2. Tyler Slade 3. Taniela Otukolo 4. Sean Mullaney

Interesting that the good run the ISP is on has come at a time when some youth has come into the side and their forward pack has been able to field a proper back row, rather than having to accommodate the centres there.
