TBH mate whenever he’s come to FG he’s done zero question is is it him or coaching?

He needs to start so we can get some carries out of him.
If not he will just play defence and go by un noticed.
Struggles to step up so i would go with coaching!

Very good win by the Canterbury Cup side today - 34-8. Pulu and Keighran had great games. Setu Tu had some nice finishing on the wing. Sao was put on report for a late hit.
We won in all three grades.

Why aren’t Pulu in particular and Sao playing first grade Steve?
Is it because they can play attacking football give away offloads have a football brain in attack.
I guess that’s not part of the process. Stick to boring process driven attack play 5 one outs and a kick or a one out dead end run by Blake on tackle 5.

Last time Sao played he cost us the win. I like Pulu but he was invisible in his last game.

Last week he definitely got put on report for putting someone in a dangerous position. I'm not 100% on whether he was suspended for it, but seems very likely.

Yep Sao's had more than enough chances in 1st grade, and is gone at the end of the year, so why bother - would rather they give time to someone that can develop like Frei.
He's worth keeping and developing.
Don't think anybody in the middle is playing bad enough to deserve dropping.

I agree with the middle but I thought he was a second rower primarily where maybe Papa could do with a spell in ressies, forgive me if I’m wrong...

Was pleased to see Caleb Temple start at hooker. Rate this kid. Always plays with a lot of aggression and commitment. Will be interesting to watch him progress over the years.
Impressed with Ligi Sao's game. Seemed to really rise with the captaincy. When the attack needed straightening or just someone to hit a line or back up a ball runner at speed it more often than not him. Looked to lift Leivaha Pulu's game up as well when he was on. Would love to see the both of them playing first grade as well as they both did during the first half of last season.
Jackson Frei is a unit but he lacks any mongrel. Almost as if he's ashamed of how big he is. If he could just get a little dirty he'd be a weapon...

He's been playing prop in ISP. I think he'd make a very good second rower too but it doesn't seem like that's where we are developing him for.
