So we play the Titans twice to see which of us wins the Wooden Spoon. Sorry, but my glass isn't even 1/4 full.

Just got a whining email from a friend in Sydney whose a Rorters supporter complaining that our draw has become easier while theirs has become harder given that the Dragons are the only team which isn't expected to make the Top Eight this year that they have to play twice while we've got the Bulldogs and the Titans.

He also thinks we should get a harder draw because we'll be based in Sydney for the comp so don't have to contend with travelling over the Tasman 8-10 times a year.

I read a article about Cartwright's wife this morning amd was wandering where she got her 36% from. When people make stats up I'd recommend not using a round number so they seem more legit. So she's got that covered. She probably things covid-19 is part of a global conspiracy to give everyone a vaccine. Despite there being different flu vaccinations for each year.

If their husbands/boyfriends stop getting paid, impacting their life styles they will probably ease up on the danger on vaccines.

The article said her kids haven't been vaccinated and they are fine and healthy. That doesn't come off as someone who knows how vaccines work.

Love how people believe their made up statistics...

Puts a shadow over the season. There will be top 8 teams that will miss the finals after a brutal draw and lower teams that get in when they don’t deserve it.

For marketable teams like the Storm or Broncos, the draw could cost them a top 4 spot and it could destroy their competition chances.

Just not cricket really... oh that’s right it’s the NRL where marketing is more important than the integrity of the competition.

In saying that the will probably ref the better teams over the top of the lower teams to keep the good ones in the finals so perhaps I’m being to harsh!

This IS the NRL we're talking about. While I d like it to have the integrity others talk about, I don't see it. I like the irony that the teams that bend or flat out break the rules most are all grouped together.

Who likes the storm so much? I lived in Melbourne for 3 years & no one cared about them that much. 99.9% of people were AFL. Interesting to see the warriors didn’t even get one mention, I thought a postponed ANZAC game would have been a draw card. The skeptic in me thinks that when looking at that list, Souths, Rooster, Storm & Broncos must play finals football. Especially the Broncos!

While not religious grounds....there was the tragedy in Samoa where the nurses gave kids the MMR Vacine...and instead of mixing it with water for injection, they mixed it with expired anesthetic.

Both kids died. Samoas vaccination rates plummeted, fifty plus kids died of measles.

I can understand Nathan Peats initially not wanting a vaccine if he has had issues previously. It didn't help the NRL form had no as an option.

Hope I have the correct guy Paul Kent mentioned. Dylan Walker overdosed on pain killers, now doesn't want to take a vaccine. He was taking pain killers on his own at a higher dose, the vaccine will be administered by a professional.

All of the clubs will be a bit stronger now with some of their injured players being available.

That is a bigger plus for us with our weaker squad and the injury toll we started the year with. Beale and Roache were both coming back from serious injuries.

Add the players coming back to Jamayne Taunoa-Brown, Elesa Katoa, and King Vuniyayawa who we started in the first two rounds and we are a bit better up front.

I have a slightly different perspective on this. I have thought that a lack of professionalism was due possibly being so close to home in a club without a heritage.

That is gone now, it will be interesting to see how their focus will be being in a new environment.

The new six again rule has one question for me... I don't know if this has been made clear but... can a team who has been given the six again decision then turn around and say "no thanks we'd prefer to take a penalty kick for goal"?

I can see a Warriors side in the last few minutes of a game needing two points to win being told "No you have to play the ball"
