My understanding [ex Dan Burton] is that members will get a pre-release opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public. As yet that opportunity has not been offerred

Love to see this cleared up already. I'll fire off an email to someone I know will answer ASAP. This could ruin plans or stop people from going...

An answer is all we want... This time last year I'd already had my tickets for the Wellington game which was in May!!!

I have just realised that going to the link above on a mobile takes you to last year but if you view it from a computer you will see the draw for 2014...

You'd have to assume that the Phoenix would get preferential treatment wouldn't you? The plot thickens!!!

Disgusted. Well, if I go now it will only be to end up watching the phoenix as my flight arrives with 10 minutes left in the game. I hope that there is compensation for those that have booked flights to attend this match. Time to get the Warriors to respond. Any luck Mt. W?

Should never have doubted you Dixpat. I dont think anyone will be left stranded at the airport. Air NZ will sort it out no doubt but I just hope those that have accommodation can change it without getting stung.

Saturday night sounds good to me. Might go myself. Go straight from town and catch the first flight out on Sunday morning...

The quote at the end is a let's save face and spin it into a positive statement.

“The new timeslot will give more fans the chance to travel to Wellington from across New Zealand for the match and it will make for a Super Saturday night of viewing on Fox Sports.”

Of course this is forgetting everyone who has booked flights and accommodation on the basis that the draw is locked in until round 16. Surely they checked with the grounds on their availability for each weekend.

Hopefully you guys can get your flights and accommodation changed.

Article pasted below for you.
https://www.nrl.com/warriors,-wests-tigers-in-round-4-switch/tabid/10874/newsid/76126/default.aspx

The NRL has today confirmed a change to the Round 4 Telstra Premiership match between the Warriors and Wests Tigers at Westpac Stadium, Wellington, which will now be played at 5pm (3pm EST) on Saturday, March 29.

The match had originally been scheduled for a 2pm start (12pm EST) on Sunday, March 30.
“In consultation with the Warriors and broadcaster Fox Sports we have agreed to move the game,” NRL Head of Football, Mr Todd Greenberg, said.

“The new timeslot will give more fans the chance to travel to Wellington from across New Zealand for the match and it will make for a Super Saturday night of viewing on Fox Sports.”

I wasn't going but if I had just been dicked by the NRL it would take a whole lot more than a OOPS Sorry, to calm me down. Dixpat you are a genius but that shit sucks that it gets posted on a forum 24 hours before the people in charge make it known.

I can't get into NRL.com. Am I the only one or has my computer been singled out?[DOUBLEPOST=1391499511][/DOUBLEPOST]
What time is the game? I can't open the link.
You on a mobile/tablet? They have been having some issues with load times on some devices. They're upgrading all their sites over the next couple of weeks, which should fix any problems.
