I gotta say, if I was in an alternate universe & found myself playing for the Warriors tonight, I'd be pumped up like a mofo for this match.
Partly in response to the whole SK thing, but mostly because of that awesome haka those supporters did over at MSS the other day.
What a mean as show of support from those cats, if that doesn't make this team want to fire up then nothing will.
If I'm Payten, I'm telling this team just to get out there, have a genuine crack & leave it all out on the pitch, if anyone's feeling frustrated or angry or whatever about recent events, then get out there & take it out on the Storm, starting with the NRL's only official player/ref ... aka C. Smith.
There's only one way this line up can beat Melbourne IMO & that's to take the fight to them.

Boof head Spud Carol in the buildup thinks the Ablacks couldn't keep up with the fitness part of a hybrid game.
Depends....depends how much of Rugbys pushing is part of the game.
League boys would have big problems with all that slow stuff they do in Union pushing each other around.
Union on the other hand will struggle with retiring ten meters non stop.
Scrums would be a slaughter too.
If they have to ptb the Unionists will struggle for Ruck speed...

No line outs.
Fourteen men.
No other rule details.
If the union break down is allowed, a lot of the League guys will get seriously injured...
So it will have to be mostly a League game.

Probably better off just playing a 7s or 9s games against each other. I would be interested to see that.

Yeah me too...or one test in each code...like Wigan and Bath put on a great show. But like Bath, the Allblacks would have to go easy on the Roos in scrums etc to avoid breaking their necks.

We have possibly the worst odds I've ever seen for the warriors, $7.25 for a win. Basically what a team like Fiji would pay playing the All Blacks.
