I think the opposite will happen. They'll come out committed in dee and run hard. They'll have a few scoring oppurtunites but come up short. 10 minutes before halftime the storm will score a couple in quick succession. Then carry on with it after half time and score a few more tries. But we show way more heart & attitudes are better despite the scoreline.

That's the usual script for sure. I have just found that the Storm are the best team at identifying our weaknesses and exploiting them early before we compensate. Being clinical and ruthless on the short-comings of others has historically been what sets them apart from the also-rans

They'll have worked out a couple of players to isolate, test the fringes early and probably will have a plan to kick often that could easily expose us early.

Who knows, maybe Payten's plan will be to attack first rather than just trying to stay in the game. Gain points from an attack first approach and the referee has less ability to swing the arm wrestle.

My pick is that they will play with pride, but come out of the blocks slow. 18-0 to Storm after 18 minutes and then an even game for the next 45.

Reports out that Stacey Jones having more of a say in our attack in the wake of Kearney leaving. Would love to know why that wasnt always the case since he was a champion half for the Warriors/NZ and is surrounded by other coaches who have all played in the forwards. Was his role to simply put out the cones at training before or something?

Previously he was just the "halves coach", while Peyton was in charge of the attack. Sounds like he is now stepping into Peyton's old role.

I don't get the Cameron Smith hate when you have c's like Latrine Mitchell who tried to decapitate Fusitua - Smith isn't a dirty player from memory. Could be a cracker of a game as Storm v Warriors can usually be or a complete slogging by the Storm after losing last week.

It’s stacked against us. 2 rookie props starting the game, no pace at the back & our up & coming rookie backrower is injured. I’d be amazed if we won & as much as I was in the get Kearney out camp a good send off would be nice for the bloke. I honestly don't understand how a supporter can wait to see a result and watch a replay. I clear 80 minutes every weekend to ensure I watch it live no matter what. My wife, friends family know I am always unavailable during the game

I was like this but then got fed up and care less about the team unfortunately.

Yeah I'm the same. As soon as I know the result most of the appeal of watching disappears, even if my side has won. If I can't watch live then I basically go full hermit until I can see a replay - no social media, no news, no messaging.
