I think he has his sights aimed higher than Warriors fwd coach. He'll be involved in administration in some capacity with sport (hopefully RL) in the future.

Steve Roach was mentioning Steve's injury on sat & was hinting that he thought Steve was "Doging It" due to the rumors of spite with Ivan. He thought the injury wasn't serious enough to really keep him out.

He's done it for five seasons, but now that he's only got a few months to go, he can't bear to play for Cleary? And he's managed to fool Mayhew into thinking it's worse than it is?

i remember a game just post super league , when we were playing the newly formed west tigers , and i think it was awen ,??? or mathew ridge put a high shot on one of their players , and the now land baron jarrod mckracken ran over to jadwat and said "send him off send him off" and mogsheen obliged. it was barely a slap in the face....man we really got the short end of the refs call in those days ...

Yeah, Jadwat was also the guy who sent Ali off in 1998 in the Manly game. As I remember it, the conversation between the touch judge and Judwat, which of course are miked, was along the lines of "the Warriors player hit him head high....no...shoul....arm...whatever, they're attached anyhow".
Have a feeling it was the first Tigers win after the merge. Wouldn't have been Ridge because we outscored them 4 tries to 3 but still lost 17-16. As bad as Ridge was for us at times, he could kick better than that.

That was a weird year. Apart from the Tigers game we beat the Cowboys with 12 men after Ali got sent off for two high shots in 10 mins, and then we beat the Eagles with 12 men again, and also drew with Newcastle after Ben Lythe had a kick charged down in the final minute when leading 18-12.
We played better with 12 men than 13 that year.
Yep, agreed. I dislike all the so called conspiracy theorists out there who see things as not being what they are. I don't think a bloke who played 300 odd first grade games would be into that sort of caper. What does he stand to benefit from at this stage of his career, particularly if he was found out?
Nothing. He would be disowned by a lot of potential career allies. I don't Steve Price is that dumb. Steve Roach on the other hand...
