When SK was playing he was probably the best in the world in his position, and there were some good players around then. The only weakness I saw to his game came at the Warriors, where being a big tall guy in a side with poor defenders he could be a target for small fast players running around him.You make a good point. Call them beasts, call them by name, label them anything you want. Give them no ones. Point is, they suck right now because SK isnt able to get the best out of these players. Plain and simple.
The regression in this team over the last month has been astounding.
Both when he ran and when he tackled it was like his life depended on it, just ask Jared McCracken when he dumped him on his head.
He was the same on his hit ups, he was a fearsome runner. His speed and intensity made any tackler think for his safety, and sometimes take the safer option.
The guy was a very intense professional. If any player in the side cannot learn something from SK they should be given the bullet, clear and simple. Forget motivation, he would have to be a very sound technical coach, if a player cannot thrive on that then they just don't have the ticker required. Clear and simple.
The regression in the side probably comes from some guys who are not up to it and know they are for the chop, it must be tough for the others.
