Still some trepidation with this. We're going well and have some momentum but I guess the hangover from the last 25 years is still around.
Get a good start, get some points up and hopefully they'll fold. Wanna see Jazz give it to Shaun Johnson after his antics the last time we met.

As an Shaun Johnson fan feel somewhat qualified on how we nullify him out of the game -
Win the battle up front.....
ALWAYS present a flat line (he tends not to take the line on if there's no chink in the wall and runs around in circles...if u see him running round in circles it means our defence is on point)
....win the battle up front
....always chase from the inside out ( that way if he puts that right foot step on someones covering on the inside, and nullifies that 2nd man play which is where he's been getting all his try assists this year).....

.never run out of the line on the last to pressure him (that's what he's waiting for, gives him that staggard line where his broken field running can carve up)
....oh and win the battle up front (all the changes in the game over the years, faster pace, bigger players, higher intensity - winning still starts with the platform set up front)

his skip passes are more deadly than his step these days
rush him and give no gaps to exploit

Whilst a win would be nice, as long as we compete and get a fair cop from the officials then I would be happy. This rabble have already over achieved and the last few months have been so enjoyable and exciting to watch.
Although this is do or die, regardless of the result I hope we finish the season strongly, something we have always struggled with. It would be a strong sign that real change is afoot.

I have a feeling the refs will be on our side today for the first time ever.
Why?
Because the NRL needs the final weeks to have 5 teams fighting it out for the last spot in the 8.
If we lose, the finals are sorted with 2 weeks to go.
Lots of dead rubbers is not good for the game.
