Oh also, because the bunker got demoted for the call last week that gave us a pen (not for the call where one of our players tackle was so bad that he didn't get sent off in the game, but did get a supension) expect the shit calls to go even more against us.
Has this officially given as the reason? I just think the No try with Shaun Johnson on the Tom Starling call was shocking too. Starling was hardly touched but appealed for the penalty before the play even evolved

Unfortunately I cannot see us winning today. And our for and against is so poor I really think we will struggle to ever make it back into the top 8 this season. There are too many good sides above us that we would have to beat to even have a chance of making the top 8. We just do not have a team playing well enough or the players to beat the teams in the top half of the ladder. I could be wrong though, but we have looked ordinary this season. Lucky we have played some pretty bad sides already. The game against the Storm really showed we are miles behind the good sides.
We've also beat the Broncos and Cowboys who are in front of us too ;)
Chin up mate - no need to be so negative all the time, the Storm would've put 40 points on Penrith that night.

Unfortunate that the Sharks lost last week, they will have a bit of bounce back factor about them if they have any skin in the game this season.

Good luck Warriors.

Was sitting on the fence with this one result wise but you can't sit there forever so I'm picking us to sneak it.Pity we ran into Storm early that points dif of minus 62 will be a monkey on our back if we are to make top 8.We need to knock off a couple of teams above us.

We need a check mate move in centre from brownie defensive wise, I prefer Aitken slots in for Talaki then we van have stability on the edge, Wets to step up defensively gives me slightly more confidence

With that sorted we about even put there, if Shaun Johnson stays cool and forwards charge up field we in with a shot

But if we stick berry and Villi out there turn toes up & nigh nighs

Vailea has a massive task ahead of him today marking up against Talakai. In fact the centre/wing match ups are all fairly scary from our perspective. We need to play a lot better than any point this season to be competitive this afternoon.
It'll be interesting to see who actually lines up against him today. The NRL website has Vailea & Berry on opposite sides than they played last week but I can't see why they'd change this week after Brown has already switched them up this year

I read that he was actually stood down because of a breach of protocol. The bunker are only supposed to interfere during play if it's an act of foul play that is deemed to be report worthy. It was definitely high but it wasn't worthy of being put on report

To me, because of the blowout v Storm, this game is so pivotal. If we lose, we fall a long way backward and will be fighting for 8th for the rest of the season. If we win, we prove to ourselves we have what it takes, and we can chase a top 4 spot. We NEED this win. If the lads play like it is I believe we should win. Each player needs to be focused and our attack has to be clinical.

I'm backing us for a golden point or janfin special win.

Agree with you on it's importance. We need to win at least 9 (because of current +/-) out of our remaining 16 games to be in with a sniff. Considering we have to play the Panthers twice & the Storm again, if we lose today there's not too much room for error thereafter
