General Sam Franklin

In the last RLW one of the buys for the Warriors was Sam Franklin from Canterbury. Does anybody know much about him or has that been covered in another thread?

um i think he was signed when they went to chch to watch a trial match when we had a bye... i think he was living in aucks, but is from canterbury... im im pretty sure he will play NYC.

That sounds right, he was signed middle of 2008. Good to see the Warriors casting their net far and wide.

He's a rugby convert. Played wing for Christchurch Boys High school rugby teams.

He is a big strong lad, with some pace. If I could match him up to an NRL player, it would have to be someone like Ty Williams. Fairly solid, with pace......would sum him up!
