Ranger on TV3 tonight adds fuel to the fire that he could be a warrior. He said something like ' they've signed a few new players & it's in the back of my mind'.
They've sounded him out before, about 2 years ago. it's not going to happen right now I'm sorry.
No need to apologize. Still in the rumour category, but 2 things that I take from it is they (ranger and the warriors) seemed to have had some discussion, and I'm staring to think that they mightn't replace Ropati next year. Ranger would be a good fit. But, as my mate at work constantly tells me, he's never really played league at a high level so is still a risk. Maybe that's the attitude the Warriors are taking too with him.
Well Ropati would be more a risk imo
He has been injured, out of form and is older now
If they are worried about Krisnan"s attitude towards training from what I hear Ranger would be a backwards step.
I saw the ex Te Atatu Rooster, James O'Connor, run around Ranger last night in the Blues loss to the Rebels.
If he isn't playing NRL how can Ranger be better than half of them? That being said i do think Ranger would be one of the current All Blacks that could make an impact in the NRL.
You make a valid point. However I don't play u12 cricket or cricket at all, I can safely claim I am better than 50% of those u12 players.
Yeah extreme example =P
I don't even watch cricket but I'm guessing you could say we're both probably better than 50% of the Black Caps.
yeah, 27 makes him really old...
