Amazing, they even went through the stats and showed the Warriors were on top right through the game, from the very start, but that was because the Dogs were poor, not because the Warriors were good ...the Tigers might be a banana skin but the TAB have brought the Warriors in...but I got my bet on way before then

I’m no Soward fan by any means but I’ve never understood the hate for him. Never bothered me.
Dude won a premiership at halfback, so I’d say he knows a bit about footy.
Doesn’t mean he’s right.
Personally couldnt give a damn where he rates the Warriors.
Best way to stick it up the naysayers is to just keep winning.

A few names from the past there.

I used to buy Open Rugby, it was a monthly British publication. The editor was a bloke called Harry Edgar who grew up in the same town as me and did a lot to promote Cumbrian Rugby league through its heritage. He was a bit older than me though so at school at a different time and not someone I knew

I heard that too and cracked up. Was a bloody great line that one!

On that, the Triple M call is always a great alternative too. I listened to it during our win over Canberra last year while I was away in the bush and was an awesome listen.

I read somewhere that he's basically only going to be calling Origins and GF's and the odd NRL game. As triple M aren't a real direct competitor to Nine one been radio the other been TV its not really an issue

Yeah I think he's doing something like 16 regular season games this year.

I usually keep it on Fox but I switched it last night because of Rabs, have to make the most of him while he's still kicking around on the telly.

i think what gets me about Soward is that, unlike Geyer, or Matty Johns, or Kimmerly or whoever else just seems to have had an axe to grind with the warriors, they've at least given us credit when it's due. But Soward? One of the most bias out. Always rates the dragons and always knocks the warriors. I understand why he rates the dragons, he won a premiership with them and he has a head like a thumb that's spent 2 hours in a bath so he's all to keen to relive glory days, but I cannot understand why he will never give the warriors any credit.

The Melbourne cheerleading yesterday by Glen Larmer, Daryl Halligan and Justin Morgan was shameful.
Once Melbourne had established a solid lead they were fauning all over them.
To the point where they were not even commentating on the game itself.
They are so thick that when Brodie Croft went off, they thought Melbourne were severely disadvantaged when in fact it made them stronger.
Hughes is a way better half than Croft and Papanhuezin is a way better full back than Hughes.
