Broncos not making it easy for us this week and next week - any chance of an ambush against the Sharks and now Rabbitohs are gone as Broncos have tipped them both over in two weeks.

We CAN win, but probably won’t. I’m holding on to the fact that we’re due a good game fairly soon, and there’s really only one way to go after last week, and that’s up.
If we complete at 80%, and keep Talakai and Ramien quiet we’re a good shot here.

I’m sure Fitzy would have been rarking the boys up all this week letting them know they can’t lost to Broncs and Warriors in consecutive weeks. Crikey what an absolute embarrassment if they do

I'm quietly confident, but have been wrong with basically every prediction this year, so that's probably a bad sign. I'm kinda split in two minds about our performances this year, on one hand I don't think we have seen the peak of our teams performance yet and think there are a couple gears we can still change up - however at the same time, it shouldn't take 9 games for a good team to produce an all round good performance and that is a bit worrying.

It’s a biggie, winnable but challenging all the same. In a twist of fate, our next 4 games post Sharkies are teams who are not in compelling form - South’s, Newcastle, Drags and Manly, all sitting around us on the ladder.
If there was an opportunity to make a move on the bale the next 5 weeks will be the time to do it with a big show of intent if we could jag a win on Sunday!

Yep agree, would be a massive win if we got there this weekend. History tells us we tend to struggle with the distraction of mid season roster changes though

Sad but true - bloody broncos!! 🤬

Reckon we've got this. I know that's easy to say but the team has done something very difficult in the last couple of weeks, getting up off the mat after the storm debacle, with Walsh disabusing the rumours, with Asi in there turning it up, with a more than solid pack, I think we're a shot. Lesssgo

Ambush against the bunnies? They have been pretty shit all year. Not suprised at all the Broncos owned them

Even as bad as they’ve been they’re still heavy favourites with the bookies and rightly so, as we have played far far worse than them this year

I’m still not completely sold on the Sharks, they’ve had some good performances but they’ve also lost to the Raiders and Broncos.

We have an 8 day turnaround coming off that raiders game and the likes off Addin Fonua-Blake and Jazz who I thought were a bit flat should be refreshed for this one.

I think it will be a close game and I think we’ve got a chance of nicking the win.

Interesting stat from the last round - Vailea came in 3rd for top speed at 35.4 km/h. Kids got some wheels!
Gee that's just a click below Fish and Shaun Johnson off the mark.........but the Fish going over 36 kph is while carrying a footbal mind.

Ah well we can all chill a bit on the mundane look of our three quarter line with that kind of acceleration let's hope he masters defence.

The Fish was the fastest Warrior I’ve seen, shame injuries stopped him reaching his potential, he was electric.

They boys had 3 days off this week (Shaun Johnson going back to NZ). Hoping that fresh up makes a world of difference.
Hoping he has a lightbulb moment and realises he needs to threaten the line from minute one, not when the game is buried and we need a come back.

He's definitely scared of getting injured that much is evident. But hes not that busted up where him attacking the line is completely redundant ala SOS.

Have you heard him in interviews? Hes not scared to get hurt, but he recognises he is older and he has a slightly different role to play, which he is doing an excellent job at, managing the game and how the ball gets up the field. I also expect soon this back line is going to get in sync and when they do its going to be scary for an opposition. Which is something else he has highlighted, they are very close to producing on field what they practise. It will be when they can call ad lib, thats when the back line will be very dangerous.

He has also said there will still be the "Magic" moments on occasion, like the try disallowed where he stepped through the line to score (but Katoa ran into a player, who still manged to tackle Shaun Johnson, but rules are rules).

I dont think hes scared of anything, I think he might be dissapointed that the full back line isnt quite clicking yet, but is confident it soon will, and I agree. Too much talent to fail

If they simply hold onto the football when its passed, they will win most of their games 24:6 on average. The only reason games are close is due to our Completion rate which gives a lack of Posession in Red zone.

Oddly Shaun Johnson said prior to Reg season that Brownie had stripped the team right back to basics, lots of passing etc, no 13 vs 13 stuff. So its odd Kosi drops the ball with an open try line, on his chest, twice, which were the only points Melb got in that first half.

The team just needs to catch the ball, its tha simple could potentially be top 4 this year with less errors and penalties. Next year no excuses for top 4 givn the coverage, pace, X factor etc.

I knew there was someone missing around the 2-5 positions just couldn't quite remember. That's a bit odd, not even named on the extended bench.
Yeah. He's been strong in attack and good in defence. Kosi in the group but not him? What did he do, make a racist remark we don't know about?
