We shouldn’t have announced it so soon, and sent Kodi around to his bros house and ask if B Smith, Pap, Munster and Hughes wanted to jam a PlayStation torny for the night.

Agreed, I don’t really understand why they can’t objectively look at the draw and swap us with the 6pm game…

There's two reasons the NRL insists on putting us in the 9pm slot:

- Roosters v Dragons is their marquee ANZAC match up so they want it in the slot that'll get the biggest crowd along.

- There's some big AFL game on in Melbourne every year on ANZAC day, so the NRL needs to wait for that to finish otherwise no one would turn up.

Can't say I agree with either of these, especially as it's every single year we get dudded by the time slot, but there it is.

Did both last year and had to leave at 3/4 time of AFL to make it for Warriors kick off

We'll be better defensively tomorrow without Nikorima. In defence of his 2021 ANZAC day effort he was switched to defending on the left after being on the right for the previous 6 weeks & paired with Berry, on debut, & Maumalo. I believe Ken's lack of effort on D that game was the beginning of the end for him at the club. It looked like he didn't want to be out there that night

Raiders look pretty garbage. Sticky is absolutely going to blow up about refs anyway, hope it doesn't get taken out on us. Losing to the storm and beating the raiders is an absolutely fine outcome for our team at this point.

Let's just show up and keep working on our performance regardless of the result. Beating the storm is only 2 points, same as any other team. If we pull it off by some miracle, fantastic. But our approach has to be trying to beat everyone not called Penrith or Melbourne.
