Here is my analysis

After we kicked off in the second half we had soft shoulders in defence and couldn't contain Nelson in particular. They marched 80 metres on their set and earned a penalty to get to 18-10
At that point they decided they were far enough in front that they could turn into the Harlem Globetrotters and they carved us up. Scoring a try not on every set of six but at least every second set of six.
They were a ruthless machine and we had soft shoulders in defence so that they pushed past the advantage line on every carry.
The good things from the game
We didn't get skunked our ten points saved total humiliation
Lodge escaped a ban when he has been on report for much less
That's all the positives I have.
We got wasted,

Ahhh… the inconsistencies continue.

They probably decided we needed the troops after their rubbing Montoya out for so long, has left us with a barely passable NRL team this week and no first grade standard wingers.

They probably decided that rubbing Lodge out could risk another major blow out, which could do more harm to the integrity of their competition than anything that Lodge did…

Wtf did lodge even do? Not even a penalty in my eyes- unfortunately his reputation proceeds him.
If I was browny I would’ve sat the team down and made them rewatch that game twice- first time concentrating on their own effort and the second time just watching lodge- then I would’ve asked them all how they could look lodge in the eye.
They all owe him a hearty farkin effort this week- have they got each other’s back or not?

Totally agree but I feel Kosi had lost it pre game. I dont think it was that error as such that triggered, He went into the game scared.

Then where the fuck were all the senior and leaders in our team to inspire him and remotivate him? This team never learns from failure. why Isn’t Johnson playing like he did for the Sharks? You have concluded that they are incompetent, biased, and inconsistent because of how you have perceived they treat the Warriors yet you think that Lodge was lucky not to be banned!

I heard someone imply the MRC works closely with the teams and do the coaches dirty work (good cop/ bad cop) to change players behaviour.

It would explain the inconsistencies and some players seemingly picked on yet others ignored.

If they do in fact work closely with the teams then the whole systems a joke.
