Consider myself a fairly even keel poster not prone to the usual "officials dudded us" outcries.....but fark me in a 10 minute period there it was like "lets see how many shit calls we can make against this outfit".....spearheaded by that disgraceful bunker call on Addin. Payten's call a few weeks back is 100% correct.

End of the day we probably made too many errors that 2nd half to win but fark me we certainly werent given any favours in that period.

Hearty effort and for the most part great D, the loss is disappointing but we we're going head to head with a definite top 6 outfit and wasnt too much off the pace.....im actually ok with where we're at.

We had the calls in the first half. We looked great in the first half.

Turns out - it was more the Roosters playing shit it seems.

Or - the refs blowing them back into the game.

Either all - we fell off after a hot start and even tho they didn’t play well, the Roosters are a top team and have been for several years and that sort of culture always seeps through the top, especially in games like this.

Bench was too light. Lost the battle through the middle. Addin Fonua-Blake can only do so much.

Kodi had no impact - rather Otukolo had a go but he played a Jazz-like role.

Pene doesn’t sting much in contact. Bunty was all right.

The halves weren’t afforded enough space to do much - and coming off our line most the of the 2nd half didn’t help.

This game shows we can be a top 4 team - but more importantly, how much more growth we require to get there.

But what remains is this - the refs suck and the comp is crooked. Fuck you V’Landys you piece of shit.

it was their 20 yr anniversary game- of course they were supposed to win. But we gave a good account of ourselves, we fared much better against them then the cowboys did a few weeks back. With a 2nd string make shift forward pack I can't complain with that performance.

I give it an A too.
Putting the poor refereeing to one side. I think we kept our shape on D for 80 minutes. Really impressive. I could also see signs players like Dallin Watene-Zelezniak were actually buying into a game plan. All good signs. Attack wasn’t as sharp as the previous two weeks but the good sides don’t let you have the time I suppose. Good to hear Shaun Johnson after the game being hard on the team for their 2nd half performance.
