6Again
Yeah totally, Eli and Otukolo really sparked them when they entered the game, Otukolo‘s sharp passing allowed more ball to get to their edges which was noticeable.

Who is that?
Well we have Kodi, Im confident Otukolo can play 80m, hes hardly an enforcer forward hehe. Either way, if not, just play as we hve been Otukolo 60mins and Kodi 60mins. But I suspect it will be Egan 60mins Otukolo 20mins.
Too many teams this year afraid to play their superior RG players, its everywhere.
My impressions are that Otukolo hs the speed we desire from fast PTB in clearing the ruck either running or passing. ????
1. Didnt answer the question, which is what Im asking, is how we are going to get back to 80 mins fitness focus and defense. He just talked a bunch of jibberish about players coming in and out. If hes actually doing NOTHING, he really shouldnt be head coach. I think Brown is a talker, not doer, reminds me of a Gus Gould or a G Lowe. Expects his words will change the team.Nathan Brown on the performance talking to 4BC:

He's probably next in line after Otukolo.
We chose this guy over that Stanley Iongi that the media couldn't believe we let go.
Oh man he better be AMAZING to have us let go of Stanley. He's probably next in line after Otukolo.

He signed a 2 year deal with the Sharks in the offseasonStill a fan of Lachie Miller, but I think by sounds he mighta got signed, have got any source to that, just something I think I read. Dang I wish we could sign some 7s players like him
Really Enjoyed that after listening to Flannos commentary of the game and now his chat to Brownie.Nathan Brown on the performance talking to 4BC:

Then the question is, why are we leaking 3 soft tries? Our defensive structure is much better.
Every player appears to really care.
Shaun Johnson makes everyone better.
Halves could be a concern with a brittle Shaun Johnson and Taylor not sounding too good. What’s heartening (understatement) is that Harris, Jazz, Ben Murdoch-Masila and Katoa didn’t play. F*** me how good is our forward depth.
We have also shown that all of the many outside backs that have been required have been decent.
Positive signs.
There's no control group with this analysis and hence this analysis is non valid and impossible to read anything meaningful into. However thanks for putting it together nonetheless as was interesting to read.I've been critical of Egan in the past, am still keen for the club keep an eye out for an upgrade, but he's really improved in the last 12 or so matches he's played. A really odd stat that I've come across is that we've scored 5 tries in the 83 minutes he's been rested this year compared to 10 tries in his 317 minutes on the park. Defensively we conceded just 2 tries when he's been off the park too. He's clearly a better #9 than Nikorima or Tevaga so I'm not trying to pin anything on him but these figures do go against the commonly held belief that he tightens up our D & greatly increases our attacking potency. Maybe it's just that him going off coincides with us gaining ascendency in the forwards.
Just remember these are just stats whanau so don't shoot the messenger 🤣
Ed Kosi reminds me of Francis Meli. Big, Strong and fast! Can put a shot on too! Though he’s not the complete package he is doing the job.Our defensive structure is much better.

Aitken is 80 minutes of top quality and abrasive league. The casual observer will have missed his impact.
Ed Kosi always had more natural ability than most NRL wingers. He is now a clever and more aware player. He has a higher ceiling.
It would not surprise me if we make it 4 in a row, but we have to play our best game this seasonPayten's C-Men let me down. The Warriors winning 3 in a row, no way. That's why I picked them to beat the Warriors in the Knockout Comp.
When was the last time they did that? Makes me think they might make the finals this year.
