Season 9 Wow GIF by The Office

Vaillea is a genuine Strike centre.
Agree he can become a weapon kotoni staggs style ball in hand, physically gifted

Needs to focus on those couple of work ons around defence, second efforts and decision making

Question
Do we pick and choose his games not to expose his defence lapses and replace with strong defensive centre pairing as required

Or is it learn to survive on the front lines and keep week to week

Stick with him for now especially when there's no serious upgrade

Is that correct or are you stirring? Was he crying when he said it?
Haha he was having a whinge on the Fox sports coverage after the game, saying that Shaun Johnson's try shouldn't have been awarded, but the even more amazing thing was that he was convinced that Kikau didn't strip the ball from Pompey, saying that "Kikau's hand wasn't even touching the ball", despite the fact that the ball was the only thing his right hand was touching 🤣🤣

100a%. Leave Vili there. It’s not like Brayden never misses tackles or leaks tries.
I like Brayden, very experienced, i like the number of times he's shut down the ball runner just by his physical presence, i think Villi is too young and inexperienced (he's no Suali), or for that matter Rocco, I feel safe with Brayden and Rocco, even touch players know to stick with your man, count from outside in and slide where you're needed, Villi needs to run more D plays, he needs to develop more spatial awareness of the ball runner and supporting runners, he also needs to trust his inside man to is able to complete the 1 on 1 tackle, cos to me it looked like he didnt trust bunty to tackle the no7. sharks are a good team, hopefully we get the win - go da wahs!!!

Was it just me or did anyone else not really enjoy the game too much? I was a bundle of nerves throughout the whole match and had to remind myself to breathe, and relax and that it was just a game.
Unfortunately with our defensive style all the matches we play are going to be 18-14 or some such nail biting score. So there many more of these matches to come.
I want us to win a match by 30 points like the sharks did so I can breathe easy in the last twenty minutes,.
Agree, wtf, I thought finally I can be free from my obssession , now you say that!! its back to kicking my whole family out of the room while i watch my belovid Warriors play alone, listening to everything (comentary, refs, crowd etc), blood pressure going thru the roof, hating the refs, hating how long they hold us down in the tackle, all the unfair cheating calls from the officials, Australia is out to get us etc... but our coach is an honory aucklander and not a Stralian, aplogies for the paranoia rant, I've been lying for the past 20 years, it does matter if we win, my whole life depends on it, its just not a game, its everything to me, I LOVE DA WARRIORS!!!

like your whakaaro, for me most important aspect of a center is their ability to read what's happening in front of them (both defensively and attacking wise), their ability to shut down any attacking forays of the opposition, defensive tackling paramount, as the saying goes anyone can attack, but to be able to id the threat and then shut it down is a skillset which only experience can bestow. I prefer time in the reserves and use what we have to fill the gap Brayden or Rocco, don't want to damage Villi's mental confidence by throwing him into the deep water too soon, I don't know it may be what he needs

even touch players know to stick with your man, count from outside in and slide

Ah, elite touch defence isn’t man on at all. Corner shut defence is man on on the short side with a shut on the long side.

Mad dog defence has link covering the middle on defence.

Man on and slide down at the local uni social touch module maybe, will get you blown off the park in a competitive game.

I thought it was a bloody ripper. We were ahead on the stats right through the game and I knew a try just had to come. I did not expect an Shaun Johnson clasic though.
Hopefully with some spotlight on us with these poor decisions public that we might get a fair encounter this weekend. We will need everything to go right to have a shot at the sharks.
I have said before guys like Ben Cummins seem to have no shame. That is because all the NRL refs come through the highly political NSWRL system. They answer to a higher power than Warriors fans, and actually us screaming about it probably makes them look better in the eyes of their puppet masters.

I think the ref that gives us the fairest go is Chris Sutton, I wonder if there’s any correlation that he came over one pre season like refs do at clubs.

He is on field though. On Sunday it was the combination of an inexperienced on field ref and Ben Cummins in the Bunker.

I was celebrating the try live. It was clear it was a strip just by the way it came out to me. Replays just confirmed it. A poor decision that was made into an outrageous one when comparing it to the failed captain's challenge on Shaun Johnson, which non of the commentators in the article mentioned.
