It's very different mate. Today is 57% humidity where as Hamilton is 22 degrees and 90%. Temps mean bugger all by themselves. I still struggle going back to nz on a mid 20's day. That sun is intense and NZ is actually a very humid country.

We agree on the completely different part.

The same reason you are shocked by the NZ conditions are identical to the reverse going there.

And the mere fact that the Wozzas will be jet lagged playing at lunch time temps in the dark at bed time, is pretty much the reason the players go into climate shock.

I just did 3 days of mahi installing solar in the Marble Bar , Western WA. I live in Perth, So i thought I'd be somewhat acclimatised for what i was about to experience. I'll tell you what, For a smoker doing mahi in 40 plus heat everyday. I started writing my will

Sorry but I did not talk about time alone, go back and re read for a fuller understanding of time plus temperature and jet lag. three risk factors not one.

also to add the flight to Townsville from NZ is probably 2 flights, and the forwards will be sitting in economy which will also impact performance.

Why don't we just put the forwards in buisness class then we will play better? Easy fix, we could have won the premiership years ago!

Yeah, because that made such a good difference in '21 and '22.

I get that it's bloody uncomfortable what with flying and heat and the 3 hour time difference, but you'd imagine the Warriors would have everything in place to mitigate for those circumstances by now. It's not like travelling to Townsville is a new thing...

Maybe with the Cowboys, we request any Townsville game gets played in June-August and offer to play any Auckland game in early-mid March?

I assume it's due to the cost to be honest...

I do agree though that business class would help them perform better.

I'm about as tall and as heavy as some forwards and flying economy is damn uncomfortable for me, so can only assume it's the same for them.

Since I have lived here (7 years) it has actually always been july/august so this year will be interesting

He absolutely crueled us a few years ago against the Knights from memory
