In the article they confirm Asi, Frei and Murchie are all leaving. Disappointed about Frei, thought he might kick on to be useful for depth but guess they didn't like what they saw.

Murchie was good on his day too, but with the influx of second rowers I guess he's surplus.

Otherwise, happy with the lineup. Not sure why Kosi has been dropped again but minor gripe.
Wondering with Vailea and Kosi it's a matter of playing playoffs for Redcliff but no, seems odd.

Lets go Berry! 😍

I assumed Asi and Murchie would be leaving, but would have liked to see Frei play a couple more times before we cut him.

A lot of information in this article including the fact that Jack Murchie is leaving at the end of the year along with the usual crowd.

That's a lot of players leaving, Aitken being the best of the bunch. Glad we got rid of Walsh and hope he gets the coaching he needs to progress, no hard feelings 🤣

I hope they are going to play Berry on the right. He’s always looked poor on the left and it negates that flick pass with his right hand.

I’m optimistic, we’ve been a different team at Mt Smart this season. I expect us to win by a bit.

He apparently has had a pretty good couple of months so be interesting to see how he goes. Don't mind seeing Montoya back on the wing for Kosi, he is better there than centre in my eyes. I assume Villi is injured? If not he should be in for Arthurs

Some surprises to tell you the truth, but maybe we don't know the full story.
Obviously the year is shot, but winning at Mt Smart is important for us. If Arthurs is leaving and the fact he has been out for a while seems a strange selection.
Kosi I feel should at least be a playing reserve.
I dare say they have seen enough so any decisions on future selections has been continplated.

Maybe McFadden is behind the centres selections
He is like let me take a final look at berry and Arthars to see how or if they fit with next years plan and squad

If kosi and vailea are healthy scratches then the above scenario or a similar one seems likely

Vailea did have a shocker on defense last week- missed 7 tackles and made some shocking reads- still a work in progress- I think they’ve just picked the team they think has the best chance of winning tbh.
There’s a fair bit riding on this- it’s not your typical dead rubber.

yeah no doubt

but i dont think you gain anything by not playing him, i think he'd learn more from experience which he doesnt get if he's sitting it out (especially for a guy thats not even going to be here)

I think we should be too strong at home for the Titans regardless, but thats a pretty lightweight centre combination tbh.
