The only reason I watched the second half was to watch tom ale in detail
Ran for over 100 metres and outplayed bunty
He will not be an elite prop but looks like he will be an nrl standard one and a decent nrl ready asset
Good Bench prop and probably the discovery of him is one of the plus points from this bleak season

Same here. I tapped out at half time of the cows game so didnt get to see him. He was a real handful but wasnt getting much help.
Surely Webbster is watching this crap thinking Morgan can piss off. Oh an thanks NRL for making the game more exciting FMD!

If the incoming coach decided to do a Payten and make them watch all of the tries they conceded it will be a long watch. Probably need a whole morning or afternoon session blocked out.

More like an entire day.. maybe two..
We have conceded 116 Tries this season 🙃🔫

Been trying to think who he's been reminding me of for the last couple of weeks......and physically it's Solomone Kata (just physically mind you........spitting image). Same short powerful build and given that 51 of those metres were post contact metres he obviously has strong leg drive which means he's not likely to get dominated in the tackle (a rarity in our team it seems)......got a long way to go yet but could be a very handy bench player for mine,

The game pretty much went as expected I thought. A top team playing a bottom team wasn’t going to end any other way.
But seeing Walsh playing a more dominant role with some nice touches reinforced that he should have been in the halves all season. How come no one at Warriors HQ couldn’t make that call?
And Tohu Harris is too good a loose forward to ever play prop again.

We weren’t disgraced . And hopefully the guys will keep their heads up for next week and end the season with a win

They probably deserve to suffer so they should sit through it.

We have a lot to fix up over the off season and time might be tight to fix everything. We may need to steal from the movies. We might need a montage.

Why ?
Genuinely interested
There’s a lot more space in union, from rucks, scrums line outs etc, so a lot of the time it’s man on man( back v back). I’m guessing Berry and Vailea played in the centres in union? If they did transitioning froM union to league defensively should be a piece of cake, just my take from personal experience.

Thoughts for this weeks shitshow of a game...

1) Tohu Harris is sadly our best half-back, best second rower, best lock and second best prop.

2) There are two classes of teams...not good and bad, but teams that can be offside and then hold down for 5 seconds every tackle, and then the teams that are kept onside and penalised the moment they hold on longer than the point of contact.

3) The NRL will constantly find new ways to penalise the Warriors, regardless how many times said action occurs every game, every week.

4) Chris Butler is beyond the worst ref in the game...not just Warriors games, he is cringe worthly bad every game he refs.

5) Ale and Vailea look to be our only shining lights amongst our crop of juniors. Both will be solid 1st graders for the next decade.

disagree. played centre in league at school then centre/second five in union at university/U21s/prems. I found league more challenging defensively.

In league I had multiple runners coming at me... in high school. ball was always alive, players were wrapping, cutting, hitting from depth. Bear in mind I was playing against the likes of De La Salle & St Paul's in 96 (I played with and against a few junior kiwis and future kiwis).

In union at uni... I was playing for uni U19s U21s and prems against the likes of Ponsonby, Suburbs, other universities etc (including a couple of fringe all blacks). Union defensive systems were easier. And it was at more advanced levels (i.e. older and against a bigger player pool).

Biggest difference I found was league players were more likely to skin you 1 on 1, offload, pass an inside ball, or wrap. Union players were more likely to chop back on the inside to the forwards and set up a ruck. Defending at centre in league is harder IMO. And more critical to winning the game.

There has been a decline in many individual player performances like Curran and calls that players 'not playing for the jersey' and Hodges the Football GM left the club to. I get the feeling that players and staff are over the club & you can see how that would affect on field performance. In terms of results and score lines ..this is up there as one of the worst seasons for the club.

The last try wasn't a try, 10 out 10 times the Warriors wouldn't be awarded it.
We played the Minor Premiership team and they did not take their foot off the peddle.
Not a total down trough by us, but there is a great gulf between the teams on the ladder.
That bullshit call fuked my warriors +32.5 bet up. Oh well still got my warriors 1 try each half call at $4.50 odds. Finally the warriors won me some money on the tab this season. Hopefully both the warriors and my picks on them go better next season.

Same ref 3 weeks in a row, had a six again taken off us. Only happens to the warriors!
Tinfoil hat time. Are these refs getting told certain things in their ear pieces regarding decisions on the field, not by unbiased officials in the bunker but by nrl management that want to push towards certain results. Someone said the betting agency is owned by the same media company that owns the channel that broadcasts the NRL. After typing this out I just realized it was Bruce that pointed this out lol. Anyone in Aussie know if they had the same option of warriors+32.5 point start. Interesting that the last try made that option miss...

I've had this thought for a while now regarding Curran, is it possible that the 1 positive from Nathan brown was getting the best out of Curran?
Sidenote- I thought lussick played well.

Thought Lui was awesome in the first 15 mins. Some big shots he put on and ran a nice line to break the line after a nice pass from Tohu Harris. Apart from that, we looked average as hell against a class team that gave us chances in the first half. Didn't do anything with those chances and then Panthers decided to destroy us.

Otukolo is rubbish. When he was coming through, he looked like a promising prospect but his service has been shiiiite. Lussick is 5 times better than him.

Has to be the worst season ever for the Warriors in my eyes. Soo much off field drama and rubbish on field performance.
