Positive, if the Panthers are the barometer then Tom Ale did not look out of place. Give him 50 minutes and he’ll be racking up 150+ meters and 30+ tackles.

We finally scored a good long range try so there is one positive.

Harris can put guys through a gap even in the middle of the field. We need to sort out plays to have him have bodies around it so it happens more often.

Liked Reece's involvement in attack (defence is still weak as cat piss), Ale and Katoa (i can see Bellamy turning him into a gem tbh) worked hard

Conceded less than 50 and panthers had all guns blazing trying to light it up.
That is a small consolation from the game.

The turning point was Vaileas in goal knock on
I thought it was a try but the fact it turned from repeat set to a 20 metre restart was a real momentum changer.

I thought we were courageous in defeat

A good example of how poor our defence is and how well they are going all around.

Before half time we got a try disallowed. They manage to get down the other end of the field and score to take advantage of it. Not once but twice.

There should have been enough time to defend until half time and prevent the second try. For any other side. There shouldn't of been enough time to score a second try. Maybe for any other side besides the Panthers and Storm.

We were massive for the first 35 minutes defensively despite just like last week getting held down far too long in the ruck with so many second efforts and hands back on the ball. Vailea scored that try.
The officiating broke our spirit.

While I agree Morgan should go it must be like herding cats coaching all these blokes from non-league playing backgrounds.

Our defence is terrible and I believe it comes down to systems (or lack of) and not being able to teach youngsters properly.

If the incoming coach decided to do a Payten and make them watch all of the tries they conceded it will be a long watch. Probably need a whole morning or afternoon session blocked out.
