They of course were way better than us but their line speed was questionable all night. I have thought this in almost every game this year. The opposition team is in our line before Egan even picks the ball up. Seem like they all know they can get away with it against us.

I could not see anything to be charged with with the Murchie incident.

The other thing that continues is that the bunker is becoming a blight on the game.

Should the bunker be removed and decisions left with the infield referee and advice from linesman.

It seems if you look at several camera angles slow or speed up the play on replay any try can be denied.
In real time it is a try.
But for a several minute forensic examination the bunker can probably deny any try.
It is really starting to piss me off.

If they won’t remove the bunker - at least remove female bunkers. My god, it’s like listening to your mum lecturing us on pity little insignificant things. Sorry mum, but you’re ruining my enjoyment of the game!!!

Hey guys don't make out Townsend did any better last year in our jersey. It was roles reversed from last week. If you get dominated in possession and territory most halves in the Nrl are going to look like world beaters.
Townsend at least tried his hardest every time he was on the field, i remember him being better on defense than Shaun Johnson, even though he only had 1 good shoulder.

Feel like Shaun Johnson would be a much better 6, with a controlling 7 and a ball playing fb, that way Shaun Johnson could just act as a link between the 2/secondary kicker and playmaker. Pity we couldn't do that with this year.

I've been watching and am disappointed to say that Casey badger is responsible for some truly bizarre rulings. Ones that go against std consensus formed over many years.

I m sure she is as good as any other bunker official.
But I m sick of the game being stopped and started and intense forensic investigation denying what appear to be on field to the naked eye in real time fair tries.
Do we need the bunker?
How did we live without it in ancient pre bunker times.
Be careful NRL league will end up
Like union - which I can barely watch now it’s so fxxxg rules and stoppage based.

Bellamy has encouraged the nrl to reinstate a 2 ref policy. I’d be happy for that and the bunker only used in try scoring situations, as it was. Scrap players challenges.

Yeah it happens to us week in week out. We're told to get back beyond the 10 meters constantly, yet opposition teams can be in our line before Egan picks up the ball. Kudos to Curran for calling the shit out on the field. Not even upset that he gave away a penatly.

Always makes me laugh when the commentators praise the opposition's line-speed, acting like they aren't a couple of metres offside every tackle ffs

That's the thing. Our on field leadership should be in the ref's face every set saying keep an eye on the line mate. And the same to the linesmen who also have a decent view of the gain line.

IMO, a big part of our problem is we are far too passive on the paddock.

Lad has some presence about him. Never backed down to Feldt, Feldt lucky he has his teeth actually

When in the game did this happen? I want to see this but don’t want to sit through a pathetic performance just for a 1 minute snipit

Was crook last night so I turned the game on late to watch Walsh drop that kick and then immediately turned the TV off again, seems like it was for the best..

Edit- Found it, Kosi was a bit late into defend Ale but Kyle Feldt is indeed a f…

Walsh was definitely woeful, he definitely isn't developing with us, and becoming a liability.
Probably for his own good and the teams we shouldn't play him again.
I think we may even struggle to beat the Titans, just hope it isn't for the spoon.

I don’t think she makes any more bizarre rulings than Ashley Klein up there, just sounds like Kath and Kim doing the bunker.
really, ask Jazz about more than 2 in the tackle and somehow she called it that he let go, even though they had hands on the ball?
Last night - not separating hands from the ball, but being called for a drop because it was placed on a non-moving player before being placed behind him and played correctly.

Both of these should have been awarded the other way. There were other examples but cant think of them atm.
Happy for your to reply with ones where Klein just up and made up rules that dont exist or reversed current interpretations

This has been a huge success for them and something we’re in desperate need of, mental coaching.
Every new player at the stormhas to do a similar camp once pre-season. Think I saw a clip of their young fullback talking about his experience somewhere. Payton knows this & has emulated it. Warriors should get Willy Apiata or the Navy Seals or go to Waiuru and chuck them into SAS training. Sort the boys from the men. They'll never compllain about a game of league again I reckon.
