This forum is very doom and gloom.

Lets be real here, the cows sit 2nd on the table, are a very good team full of very good players, who give their all every play.

The warriors are a poorly coached team, and have been for years, they play like a team who have fired their coach recently, because thats exactly what they are, our players dont have much confidence and they haven't been put in positions where they can easily succeed.

Walsh has been poor all year, but with any other top team he would be doing so much better, he hasnt been put in a good position to succeed or to grow, hes only very young and we have seen this for years now with many different players being poorly managed.

But we do have some light, we do have some good players coming through like vailea and volkman and kosi, we have good players like Addin Fonua-Blake, harris, curran. All we need is a good coach, and some stability with regards to our home base, playing at mount smart will win us games and hopefully our new coach can instil the mentality needed to win away in Australia next season.

Unlike most here, i wish walsh all the best next year and i have no doubt that he is going to be a great player in a much better system and team in Brisbane.

Its been a long season and i cant wait to it to be over and the fresh hope of another season will make me feel like next year is our year.
Good post brother.

Being a heavy critic of Walsh during this game I totally agree, its nothing personal.

I wish him all the best at the Broncos.

I feel aside from his one hit wonder performance against the Tigers last year, most teams have figured him out on attack and defence.

He really is still work in progress, and I hope the broncos are smart enough to see this rather than letting him fail in the spot light. He needs to put on a few more pounds in the off-season, because he’s being thrown around like a rag doll on defence.. then he needs to work on his positional play.. then his tackling… front, side, behind.. there’s more than one angle to defense at full back.

The score line was inevitable.

Positives - Walsh is leaving.

Shaun Johnson will retire soon.

Stacey will not be our coach next year

2 more games before this cluster fuck of a season is over.

Best of all’s It’s a Friday and I don’t have to work tomorrow!!!! Thank fuck..
Cleary would’ve looked shit playing for us tonight. A reset, and big pre season next year and Shaun Johnson’s last season he’ll fire.

honestly believe, there was more effort shown on here than i saw on the pitch during the game. this was a side going with the mindset that they had already lost.
so big ups to the team, on this site. u represented well.
to the team on the field, well, i gave it as much effort as u, and also tuned out in the first 3 mins. guess we both came away losers, difference was i didnt get paid

oh god, no disrespect, but please dont hope for Shaun Johnson the saviour for next season.. i realy dont want to have to call for a suicide intervention, when he fails to deliver again
It pains me to say this but you’re right

Shaun Johnson has turned into Blake Green 2.0

He’s now part of the problem.

We need youth and fresh energy pumped into the team. Unfortunately I have no idea where all our youth are…. we need a complete reset but this mess is gonna take time to fix.

As a fan I just find it totally unacceptable that they can put out efforts like this season after season.I don't care if they play the rolls royce or a cellar dweller at least they could man up and show some balls in commitment. The Panthers game should be their highlight in what a dog of a team they have become.

Liked what Ale did. Hopefully he gets more time on the field. Loved Curran's comment fairly sure he said "Why does this shit only happen to us". That was for the dropping the ball where his hand never left the ball on a player that never attempted to get out of the way. I am wondering if Curran is carrying an injury. He should be starting.

Curran doesn’t look injured to me. If Murchie isn't suspended next week look for Ale to take more time from him off the bench.

Currans gone imo, he won't be here next season.

Yeap you are right mate, i think the attack this season where the warriors have run almost everything through Shaun Johnson has taken away alot of walshs opportunities but yeah he sure has a lot to work on.

A bit of weight would help but hes never going to big a big man and needs to work on his technique in the tackle, as you said.

Also i cant remember a fullback get left out to dry as much as he has this season, its like the coaching team hasnt tried at all to help him on defense in the line and points to poor development of players.

Young players need help until they have developed the skills and body necessary to do the job properly but unfortunately he has been chucked in and said Roger Tuivasa-Sheck used to do all this, good luck mate.

What a missed opportunity Todd Payton turned out to be. No no we won't throw everything we have to get him to stay we have Nathan Brown as a back up. FFS. And I'm sure that if they had made Payton a really good offer he would have stayed

Watching Peta Hiku last night bought home the difference between coaches and clubs. He tried hard at the Warriors but struggled. While still being one of our better players.
In a well coached side he looked to be having fun and with well drilled players around him he was having success. That could have been the whole Warriors team if Payton stayed

It was a crap display from us last night. There was no sense of teamwork. Just individuals trying hard ( well most of them) and we got spanked.
Walsh needs to go back to the Broncos now and get nursed back to health in reserve grade. He was taken from the reserves and put into first grade too early. With development he could be a good player.
Our outside backs tried. A couple of brainfarts excepted.
Johnson has to go now before he infects the new halves. He's not someone that I would want teaching anyone tactics or game management as a mentor

In the forwards, i would hate to see Curran go but as has been said it looks as though something is happening. Or something isn't right
And what's wrong with Bunty? How can such a big guy who runs so hard lose the tackle time and time again?
The rest were there. Hopefully Webster can unlock the potential that they have. Harris ,Addin Fonua-Blake, Egan, and Ale were trying without having a lot of impact. And the rest tried. Mostly
It does my head in watching them.

And as for The Vadge in the bunker!! What a mix of good and crap calls.
Montoya was offside when we got our try
Curran didn't let the ball go. How could that be a knock on?
But then she cocked up a couple of calls against the Cowboys too so while she was hopeless she was unbiased about it.

I am losing interest in the whole NRL thing. A couple more games to endure and apart from the World Cup that will be my league done for the year

What's happened to our dummy half running? Last night we gave up 114m to them & gained just 44m ourselves. Is scooting from dummy half frowned upon for outside backs now? Holmes, Feldt & Drinkwater all had cracks out of there but our only attempts were from Egan/Lussick

When have our centres/wingers ever been dummy half runners?

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was the guy who would jump into dummy half.

Kata would too but there was a "within 5m of the line" clause that came with it.

We’ve had plenty of poor performances this season but at the moment the games where we don’t put in at all seem to be the ones after we’ve played at home. After the tigers at home we had a bye then the eels beat us comfortably with a couple of later tries for us making the scoreboard a bit more respectable, then we played the storm at home who we played well against and the following week showed nothing against the rabbits. Finally we played the bulldogs last week and last night’s performance occurs.

Seems like a very long time ago. A quick nostalgic check back to the 2011 GF had Bill Tupou & Lewis Brown combining for 104m out of there & 8 other blokes had a crack
We used to do it alot back in the day I always remember Ropati running from dummy half not sure why we don't do it more often it would help us from getting dragged in goal on 2nd tackle
