The shoe on Friday night had "The Crowd Goes Wild" on it. Which happens to be on Prime TV which is owned by Sky. Not sure if it was endorsed by them or not. Would be good to get some clarity on the matter as its all very confusing.
CGW operates out of the SKY offices (unless somethings changed) and has a lot of crossover with SKY staff etc. Can't imagine SKY is pissy about it but the Warriors could be?

I believe the Warrior and fans deserve 20 home games next season. Didn't know where to post this, its a win win for both party's. We hopefully get a chance at a top 8 spot with home games. The NRL get to show case the sport in NZ. Surely a winning Warriors side is good for business?

Roger Shoey Vasa Sheck was interviewed by Mike Hosking this morning.
He said he has been in touch with the warriors and will be at the last game of the season. No life ban. Said he will be doing the shoey out of a red band gumboot for the last game and every time he is on tv will donate $100 to I am hope.

Then Mike Hosking who is a self proclaimed Warriors fan, said he was unsure whether the warriors had a chance at making the top 8, but thought there was a chance they might just sneak in… LOL…dipshit.

Mike Hosking aint a real Warriors fan eh? He does it for the clout & make him seem like an ordinary bloke.

Shoey Vasa looks like Aaron Woods...

Having a play with the ladder predictor, we can actually end up on the same competition points as Roosters and Raiders (with one of the three in 8th place).

We would just need to win big (including against the current top 2 teams in Cowboys & Panthers) and hope both those teams lose big, to bring down the 200ish and 300ish points difference currently they have over us hah!

Your calculator is seriously bung. We are currently 12 points off 8th place with a maximum of 6 points up for grabs. We would need a bunch of teams currently in the top 8 to be stripped of their competition points for us to make the top 8!!

Mathematically the best we can do is 10th… which would need Manly and dragons to lose all their last 3 games, and we would need to improve our around +/- by 200 points.

Realistically 12th will be as good as it gets this season… and 16th is still mathematically possible although highly unlikely.

Odd, I was using the NRL's predictor, wonder how that happened. This is also after I noted that it is impossible to get into the top 8 on the last page or two on this very thread hah!

Don't mind me, Monday must be really hitting hard ;P

He was banned for having an unauthorised filming crew videoing him.

Lifetime ban is too harsh. It's harmless fun IMO.
Ah ok, thanks.
How many of us Mt Smart attendants would know the un authorized filming clause?

How does this effect our smart phone foootage? And if there is a distinction, why?

Shifting my posito overreach.

I'm not sure if that is actually what he was kicked out for, but the wording on the entry conditions for prohibited filming equipment is:
  • Video cameras and recording devices such as drones, iPads, tablets or Go Pros (cell phones are ok)
  • Cameras with a removable lens, a lens larger than a regular watch face or cameras which may be deemed to be for professional use

The distinction, I assume, is around whether the footage is for commercial use. I don't know the law well enough to comment properly, but probably something to do with Sky paying for exclusive rights to broadcast footage from within Mt Smart Stadium on game days, including crowd shots?

to be fair, I clean my toilet more often than I clean the inside of my shoes...
You don't shit in your shoes though do you, unless you're Keith Richards on a bender. I heard the objection to the shoey from some quarters is the connection to gang initiations, not something they want to promote in front of the coaches box. But good on him for the charity donations, the life ban bs was fake news, the game needs characters and local content.

I heard to join the Crips you need to drink a 40 out of a gumboot

Considering the video floating round of the fella at the game in the thick of the crowd hoovering a bag into his nasal cavity, a shoey seems pretty g-rated.

I don't get why Spewey or anyone drinking out of a shoe is anything other than someone trying unsuccessfully to be funny.

To stop a repeat let's move the coaches out of the boxes and onto the sidelines. Tuchel and Conte were pure theater in the weekend . We could do with some of that.
