Was good to see him playing 13 again and not 80 minutes. He is so much better in that role. I didn't really like Curran at lock, obviously Harris is first choice then Jazz then Siro. Hope it stays that way
Harris does not want to play lock, thats why he plays 12. Apparently he does not like it which is a real shame because thats his best position. He does not run as good lines as curran or even aitken now on the edge and his best assets are ball playing, defense and his motor which literally make him a perfect lock.

I think it's the other way around and he prefers the middle

There was a bloke called Manu Vatuvei who also had bricks for hands. He turned out to be pretty handy for us…
Was just going to say Kozzie reminds me a lot of Manu. Big, Big guy but very light on his feet and bleeds Warriors. With support and development I think he will make a good NRL player.

Ok so we beat the bottom team by 24-10 when most other teams are beating them by 40-60 points. It was a win but not a great performance. Shows we are not much better then the bottom side. But it's still a win so I am happy enough
The Bulldogs tend to lose games by 17 based on their points differential. We beat them by 14. Meh

If im not mistaken thats what was said a few months ago, and before i read that i wondered why they werent playing him in the middle. He played on the edge for most on the season. (When he wasnt playing prop) We had curran, sironen, jazz all having a go a lock while harris was playing edge.
Sooo why are you saying he prefers edge? That was many stories about his prefrence if the middle from him and the coach. Personally I like him more as an edge as he was unbelievable in 2018 creating space.

The time in Redcliffe has done wonders for Kosi, The change in him is like night and day. Hope he can spend the rest of the season developing at that level rather than playing first grade again this year.
No flames but it's more likely the time on the training field in the team bubble that has helped Kosi's development. He hasn't played for the Dolphins in 9 weeks & the last 3 matches he has played have all been in the NRL

I forgot where i read it but it was one of the coachs talking about convincing him to play lock as he didnt like the work rate and wanted to be out wider where he wadnt locked into thw middle of the field. Yes he was great 2018 as was that whole right edge. The passing from Shaun Johnson harris and hiku was phenomenal and fisutua benifited greatly as a result.

However i believe he suits more as a lock in this team we have now because he is so versatile he can play edge and middle better than anyone so play him middle and curran and aitken or katoa edge because they don't play lock well. Harris first man receiver on early tackles where he can tuck and run or tip on to Addin Fonua-Blake/lodge, and then has the option of Shaun Johnson/walsh out the back is really exciting imo would be so hard to defend.

Such a terrible take. Go look up the Bulldogs recent draw.

One thing i like is the passion.

This team may suck at times but they look like they really five a fuck .

Got to keep players like Curran around because he is showing this year he really is the business.

Easily MOTM today.

God damn if this team has a good off season who knows what we could do next year.

He's been a fraud the whole way through.

I understand them moving Pay on due to the record he had whilst he was there, but he did so whilst they were hammered massively for salary cap breaches in addition to Hasler's back ended contracts. He wasn't allowed to buy players and the political mess in the front office would have been extremely undermining.

For me, Pay had them playing hard and he is a coach I admire. I wouldn't mind him here as an assistant. Especially if he is in charge of our defence in place of Morgan.
bulldogs really are a shite club/culture. I read that part of their deal with their major sponsor was on the condition the CEO of the sponsor (Landy's hotels) gets to also make decisions/have input on recruitment. How desperate do you have to be to allow that?

Bro Trent Barrets press conference is hilarious. Reckons nothing wrong with the katoa tackle or Ryan James tacking a kicker in the air. Blames Reece Walsh for starting a melee and winning a penalty. Also accused our medical team of telling Kosi to stay down after the hit to milk the penalty. Officially the most despised coach ever. Doesn’t talk about the phantom escort try that was taken off us or the one where Curren was blatantly held back. Glad browny never mentioned the refs in all our loses - may have had something to do with us being more resilient.

I've seen ones far worse than the tackle on Chanel Harris-Tavita go unpunished.

The hit on Kosi was a penalty. Doesn't wrap his arms and hits him squarely above the neck.

Hiku has won his last 6 from 7 games or something like that. There’s something in that.
He has definitely made a positive difference!

But I think having our pack leader Addin Fonua-Blake back has had a bigger impact. First few weeks post injury he struggled but back in form he’s been massive in an influential position playing huge minutes, dominating defensively and making huge meters (151m per game average). He gives us momentum and gives confidence to those around him.

If he wasn’t injured in the middle half of the season when a few close games slipped away, I believe we would be comfortably in the top 8 now.
