Thought we played a good half and then the momentum changed which I thought was manufactured by the officials and we couldnt maintain our intensity but mainly kept trying other than a short period where the calls going against us took its toll on us mentally and we looked shot but then tried to pull it back again at the end. Overall I re kon we did ok and coulda won it under different officials which is frustrating for us and the team.

Wighton was the difference in the end.

Had a laugh the other night though when Vossy said during a commentary about the Warriors being the worst club in their use of Captain's challenges, with us all knowing how ridiculously dudded they are when they use it which doesn't feature in those stats. What a farce today was.

Our back 3 were fantastic the first half and at times in the 2nd. Could say back 4 with Arthars also being massive.

We have not had players who could leap high for ages, I was shocked how much higher Chanel Harris-Tavita could leap, Montoya took a cracker.

All season we have been knocking on the bombs, mostly Walsh. But I feel like Montoya adds the effort from the back we use to have from Ken and Fusitua.

The issue with Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is he is rocks or diamonds, class player but Id like to see us with some extreme pace on our edge like Walsh or Metcalf, but not like we can drop Dallin Watene-Zelezniak or Montoya is it? But given we not making the finals, I think we should put Walsh on the Wing, just to see what we can do with an overlap and extreme pace.

Video ref sucked as did the no strip on field call against Jazz, all 3 went against us, even though they got the review for the first one Jazz just let go.

But add the strip from Jazz not called on their 10m, and the strip against Aitken on our 5m after they were given 30 seconds to review (somebody explain that one), plus the 2 40/20s from Wighton, thats 18 points and potentially a game changer bad call down their end.

If we had didnt burn out captains challenge on a dropped ball/loose carry (which was what the Aitken penalty should have been called, they had a loose carry, Aitken didnt play it), who knows what might have happened in the game.

So how many points will the storm put on us at home next week?

So many Warriors players in the current squad and in the past have been rocks or diamonds, and I believe that has been the problem since 2012. Get players who don't make mistakes every week and we might at least make the 8 !

We benefitted from a bullshit call with Elliot called for a crusher in the 2nd half. We just didn’t run hard enough or bring line speed in the 2nd half. Those are the ways to change momentum. I also thought there were a number of times in the first half where we made breaks and no one backed up. Pompey was in position to offload 2 or 3 times

Crystal Rota says Joe Tapine "keeps pushing even though the tackle can be quite effective on him".

Crystal, I think you will find that a tackle is quite effective on most players. It's kind of the whole point of defense.

I understand diversity etc, but I don't think it should mean you should get a job if you aren't good at it. Go away and get better at it like everyone else has to Crystal. I'm sure you can get a job you actually deserve if you do that.

I hate the officiating as much as the next fan. BUT you can't blame the refs for the whole season and last season and the season before. I still prefer watching Nrl because it is a better more professional and exciting package. NZRU and super rugby could take a leaf from the NRL right now... We as kiwis are just in a difficult position playing in an aussie league. I really think The NRL should do more financially for NZ rugby league. Help us succeed. Please.

cant beleive that some people rated that a B game.
first half, kicking by warriors, killed 3 attacking plays.
2nd half the very first kick by canberra saw a try follow up. all warriors kicks were predictible and non threatening. results were therefore also predictible.
raiiders kicked 2 40-20s and i dont know how many repeat sets

You missed about three instances of "you know" in that sentence

Probably alcohol induced or a fat finger mistake

It was a C at best
