Chanel Harris-Tavita could be the biggest loss to this club since Ali Lauatiti.

i wish he had have got a pre season and a grip of games at the back.

was it just me or did the reffing really change second half? like we can’t possibly let these brown boys win here can we????

would there be anything more petty and hilarious than to make reece walsh play reggies for dolphins for the rest of the year? i’ll bet he would weasel his way into playing for them in first grade the next few years since they were offering to pay him so much.

Great first half. Was critical of our 2nd half effort last week, and we shat the bed again, big time. But apparently, we can blame covid for that.

I feel embarrassed by our lack of effort in the 2nd, but covid and stuff I guess, factor it all in and apparently we are really just a bunch of heroes.

As long as we are having fun, we deserve it, and all that nonsense.

Just shut up and drink our own cool aide, I guess.

Once we lost the challenge, referee gave us nothing afterwards.

Strong efforts but imploded in final 20.

Can someone let me know why players insist on knocking the ball dead in goal when it is close to the ground (mid-low percentage play IMO) rather than simply forcing it (i.e., the action required to get maximum points at the other end of the field)...

Just as well the Raiders are my Second Team in the NRL.

Shithouse performances like this are exactly why I have Second Teams BTW.

Not one "senior" player I'd be busting a gut to extend their stay at the Warriors, frankly. No-one knew how to just handle the 14 point lead or even extend it. Some I'd even be inviting to "test the market."

I have to say I got a "Here We Go" feeling as of late in the first half when we couldn't build on the 14 points.

Yes the boys couldn't keep up their first half urgency and the Raiders got the calls and momentum in the second.
Carrum had a quiet game by his standards, and Katoa had a very average game,Chanel Harris-Tavita definitely is a good fullback.

Great first 30 minutes, lost the momentum and the go forward, silly mistakes and lost structure, heaps of off loads conceded and two great 40/20's later we're thrashed.
Stacey's done a good job of lifting the effort and dropping several players who aren't up to first grade. Jazz is a player who I like but on the balance of things he's a liability, bit like Lodge with his ill discipline, Katoa isn't ready enough.

If you're subbing the stand-off 65mins in, surely the sub slots in at that position and you don't re-jig the spine to give the wonder-kid his preference... especially when Chanel Harris-Tavita was looking solid (no, not saying game-breaking or amazing, but solid) up until that point.

Get your head together, there isn't, never has been and never will be a "conspiracy" against the Warriors.

It's just the match officials shitting themselves about "looking unbiased". The way you seem "biased" is by having a penalty count demonstrably in one team's favour. So the officials have to make bullshit calls for both teams so they don't get any heat.

Not gonna miss RW. It's amusing how much the Aussies just luuurve him this week.
