Rabbitohs 60 warriors 22

Last week: Rabbitohs 32 bulldogs 24

Ive watched a few bulldogs games and most of their players are reserve grade quality so they have a legit reason to be coming last. But they try hard and give their all with what they have in the squad. They pushed and frustrated the bunnies till the 80th minute. How can a team coming last do that to a 2021 premiership contending team? Then a week later we have the warriors. A team that has international rep players and on paper has a wayy better lineup then the bulldogs but get absolutely smashed by the bunnies! In my opinion has to be one of the worst warriors seasons!

The reality is it only takes one reserve grader not stepping up and there is a defensive weakness straight away.

So having more than one, some fatigue, and a newbie making three colossal errors in succession makes it even more weak, then add into that the inevitable lack of confidence and panic that follows and a rout is on the way.

... and I forgot a serially useless defensive system anyway...go figure.

Watching the post game presser and even Brownie is over the excuses. The questions keep steering towards the injuries and the sacrifices and Brown is responding that it's no excuse to turn up the way they did. He has every opportunity to jump on the sympathy bandwagon but he doesn't. He knows what is expected regarding effort and passion and isn't taking the easy way out. I respect him for that.

By far our worst game this year.
In management most things are measured in results and on that basis we have problems.
I think SK was given a generous amount of time for the process to kick in, but eventually the ownership had to look at results, so he got kicked out in unglorous fashion.

If you are being charitable we blame our present situation on injuries, but good coaches deal with that and find a way to win.

It could be partially some reliance on our wiz kid, but he is just that a kid. It might be they start him at 6 or 7 and really access his best position for the team, as Brown said forget the season now.

In short Brown is a nice guy and can speak well, but actions speak loader than words.
Not good enough.

Problem I have is these guys are ment to be 1st graders, the coach should just be giving the little ideas of were they can improve or what to look for, f@#k me these guys don't even know how to put defensive pressure on the opposition, that shit we teach to our under 8s over here, it's not Brownies job to wipe there asses and feed them their baby food, shit I reckon I could have put a team out there last night with members of this forum who don't get paid $5000 aweek and could have done the same job, our boys just arnt playing at nrl level.
Rant over

Good point....but...they reached a zenith against St George at MSS that April...was it 2018...acted like they didn't have to try anymore...got smoked at Melbourne and declined after that. There was no sign of hope.

Compared with now there is hope in this side.

Montoya and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak impress me. Big Ken could not cover like Montoya does and although Dallin Watene-Zelezniak lacks the size of Ken and Fusitua he runs at tacklers like they are a brick wall.

Walsh is a gem, SK will make a difference and Lodge and Addin Fonua-Blake will lead that forward pack that is not bad anyway.

I am not suicidal.
