I think they flew back earlier in the week. Are the Warriors travelling to Sydney from Redcliffe or Auckland.
I m 99 per cent sure its Redcliffe.
It always used to be a bloodbath flying into games at 10 pm Nz time with those 755 pm Aus time games.
The timing imo is also a tad disrespectful to fans in NZ. Could imagine the screams from Oz if they had to wait until 2200hrs for a club game.I think they flew back earlier in the week.
You bring up a very good point, does anyone remember if we had any 10 pm games before COVID when we were based in NZ? If so that's bloody ridiculous.
It is a Chanel 9 game though, so I'm sure part of the bargaining agreement that we at least play one late Friday game. The timing imo is also a tad disrespectful to fans in NZ. Could imagine the screams from Oz if they had to wait until 2200hrs for a club game.
He's far from elite but we've won the last 3 games, he's played on the Right Wing, his opposing Winger hasn't scored at all in those & he's made just 2 errors (1 of which was attempting to score a try & none were made across his last 2 appearances). What are some of you seeing in Ed Kosi?
I think Jazz to prop was an attempt to replicate the storm playing Smith at Prop. Stacey kept him there a few weeks too but that's probably more of an indictment on our other props available....and the signing of Dunamis in some respects.
I think this scenario is perfect for kosi. He's got there through injury and has been performing at Redcliffe.Who could we play there instead given the injuries? Sounds like Kosi is playing well so deserves a shot.
Yeah be good if Webster can unlock Katoa as he can run a good line like a Kikau. If we do need to clear a few forwards l would probably retain Katoa over Murchie.......and Siro to be fair
And like Cotter at the cowboys. Don’t think they could afford to put Jazz prop this week because we need size against RCG and Paulo. Really hope Tohu Harris Harris isn’t one of our props next year and we’re in the market of looking for a good one, would rather Harris stays back row or lock because depth in all positions is essential with injury. That’s the value of Harris, he can fill so many positions and do his job.I think Jazz to prop was an attempt to replicate the storm playing Smith at Prop. Lets see how they run out as I am a little worried about Tohu Harris at prop purely because of how he takes a head knock and can be out a while.
Niukore to prop? Probably built for it more than Tohu Harris to be fairAnd like Cotter at the cowboys. I hope not, would personally just rather an out and out prop but with Harris, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Curran, Niukore, Barnett, Murchie, Sironen, Katoa being primarily second rowers it’s plausible someone goes into the front row. Personally wouldn’t be too bothered to lose any of Murchie, Sironen or Ben Murdoch-Masila.Niukore to prop? Probably built for it more than Tohu Harris to be fair
That last game he had for the Dolphins was a blinder.I think this scenario is perfect for kosi. He's got there through injury and has been performing at Redcliffe.
Kosi will only have so many opportunities, It will be good to see what he has learned and how bad he wants it, otherwise he's a gonna next season, hope he performs well because he needs to.
Robati worth keeping? hasnt really had a shot so far...That last game he had for the Dolphins was a blinder.
His first try was a cracker. Having some decent time in reserves will do all these young guys a world of good. Kosi, Vailea, Berry, Kepus, Petterson Robati etc.
Easy to forget how much development through the lower grades has been lost to our players in the last couple of years.
As long as they haven't got Tony Kemp on stand by.Holy shit, some heads are going to explode if Justin Morgan is our coach, even if it is just for a week
Whats David Kidwell up to these days?As long as they haven't got Tony Kemp on stand by.
Defence coach for the Pumas Rugby team - eating big beef steaks and perving on some of the best looking girls in the world whilst being surrounded by the girl's brothers who just want to smack your head in. Ummm thats the truth too about Argentina.Whats David Kidwell up to these days?
