Lodge played 54mins

Addin Fonua-Blake 58 mins

Sharkies did most their scoring when these two were off the park.

Both are capable of playing bigger minutes. I am talking 70+ minutes each.

Did we really need 3 props on the bench with Bunty , LAm and Ben Murdoch-Masila? LAM looked awfully slow. Bunty has lost his zinger. Just no variety in his game.

Brown needs to rethink his bench.

Egan is not an 80min hooker

Jazz is not a starter…..

Our alpha’s need more minutes

Oh, and drop Kodi, put Walshy to 6 and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck back to fullback !

It’s just simple common sense shit,,,
Unfortunately BeastMode the horse has probably bolted....

There was a distinct moment in the game where we put it through the hands to the left wing and when the ball reached the wing... the realisation sinks in... for there he was, our Million Dollar Man Roger Tuivasa-Sheck receiving the ball... looking like a fish out of water.

Geez, how desperate are we for a good half that "almost forcing two dropouts" in a game where they only scored 12 pts is the benchmark for success around here.

Sean O'Sullivan was shit, face it. Wrong options constantly, like getting caught taking a hit up before the last tackle, or an early tackle kicks for nobody. Just because Kodi was more shit doesn't give him as pass mark.

Something's wrong with the side if they're behind by 8 with 10 minutes to go and they're just content doing 5 one out hit ups and and an uncontested kick, or worse a kick to the sideline. Imagine if the dragons had done that last week.

Thinking about it Roger is definitely not playing at his normal level, it is at a point go for broke put players in their most effective position, ie Roger to fullback, or continue as is and build for next year, waiting for the best preseason ever.
The way we are going could be lucky to win 2 more games this season.

The horse has bolted on putting rog back to FB I think. The season is gone, I think we just continue as is now..no choice but to build for next season....again😞

So… we’ve had a combination of 15 Club and Nrl Debuts this season (the most since 95’) of those several players with very little rugby league behind them. Throw in Six mid-season moves with players coming and players leaving, 13 individual players injured, mostly key personnel and with significant time on the sidelines, three of them season ending if we include Fusitua and Turner. A handful of weeks missing players through suspension, two players out for a fortnight through COVID the Club has picked up and moved countries to makeshift training facilities and hotel room accomodation haven’t played in front of home supporters all season or most of last year we’re managing to lose by the tightest of margins with a different side week to week and we’re now laying the blame for this at the feet of Brown! … I get the basic need to look for a single fault but that’ll do me!

Literally anyone would be better than brown. Trent barrett has better record than Brown in the last 5 years.

We could blood in a new unproven coach and have a better chance at success. Take Steve Mcnamara from super league. Walker Brothers. Didn't bellamy go off contract? What's bennett doing next year?
My point being: Who the hell would want to sign for the Warriors? You might have an ugly, buck-toothed intellectually backward date but if you don't get into the dance without a date and the ugly, buck-toothed intellectually backward date was the only one that said "Yes.", that's your date for the dance.

We've tried too many unproven coaches who haven't worked out - or in the case of Anderson, did work out until things got hard and suddenly it worked out really badly - and do you really want Hodges or Morgan - who've been roundly slagged off (okay Morgan more than Hodges) on here - to take over?!

I think that Risk averse attitude is exactly the reason people like Nathan brown have jobs

it’s not just an nrl thing, too, obviously.
I guess if the brass hire a bad coach, they can blame a bad coach. But if they hire someone unproven, it’s on them.

my point is that Nathan browns record is so bad, (one of the all time worst records ever), is that it makes sense to hire literally anyone - anyone - because for someone to be worse than brown, we would have to be very very unlucky.

Just on this - arguably our biggest successes have come from unproven coaches (Cleary and Anderson).

strange that 90% of your comment is about what NB isnt doing as a coach and nothing about why you like him....
Browns good qualities of what makes him a very strong coach

1) Recruitment and building a roster. Between him and POS and Gould they are the best recruiters in the league. This is a good enough reason alone to keep him. Even if he is mediocre at making the team gel he is outstanding at building a roster and getting quality players to come here

2) USUALLY he picks the right players in the right combinations for the starting 17

3) Unusual but effective approach to player development. He drops them and or sends them back to reserves. Notice Jazz has been very good and an asset since he was dropped for a game after an egregious piece of ill discipline in a game, and Katoa has been much better after been sent a rocket by being sent back to reserves

4) Not bad with team tactics and his half time talks, according to what is reported on them, are not rah rah and kicking towels but actually he adjusts our tactics and tells us how to play differently. This has sparked a number of second half comebacks (that we couldn't ice)

Sorry bro😊. There will be a time to judge Brown I just don’t think it’s now. If I reflect on who he’s helped bring to the Club this season I’m almost giving him a pass mark.

Feel like he‘s having to play pre-school teacher coach to half the squad this year while at the same time removing the dead wood to right a roster for next season that is capable of finals, hopefully back at Mt Smart and without being weakened week to week by the constant interruptions to the continuity of the side.

Dunno about anyone else but to me Brown has been vibing most of the year that it’s about gearing up towards next season and beyond.

That’s been the narrative every single year since 2012.

Why can’t he make it work with 7 games still to go this season? I know l know, needs a full offseason, Shaun Johnson and an injury free team… next year. Our year.

I haven't seen a Warriors team consistently make so many handling errors since pre-Kearney. There are a lot of things that are impacting us that can't be helped, but that is one that can and is really hurting at the moment.
I keep wondering what happened to the side from early on in the season that had one of the highest completion rates in the comp. They looked promising there (if only for a game or two).
