Happy for Stacey, happy for the players, and happy for the fans that turned up.

May not have been pretty with the ball in hand, but the effort was there all game and that's all you can ask for when you are a struggling team needing a win.

Great game, awesome to be home well controlled by shaun mom performance from zelezniak imo, he tried his best great team performance overall.
Something to build on here.

Rub of the green seemed to go both ways.

Think the directive was clear from the NRL to the refs, we need to call this one fairly, and they did (if anything I thought for the first time in a long time we may have got the rub of the green).

Don't expect this next week.

Perfect game really.

Defence has been the issue numero uno all season, a shut out was what we needed.

Tough opposition, Tigers played hard, usually they beat us with that type of defence.

Pretty sound effort from everyone, and it's starting to look like composure will come for Shaun Johnson which translates across the team, he kicked really well.

Some outstanding play from Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Egan, Fonua Blake finding some MOJO.

Happy for Stacey, we might go alright under him, he did a brilliant job prepping for this game.

Thank God a monkey off our back, had the rub of the green, but the better team won, maybe more attractive for a potential coach

The highlight for me was the start of the game. The first 5-10mins with the crowd going nuts. It was special.

Really only that Pompey flick over the sideline was our only true small brain moment. Followed up points with good sets. Really ground it out. Not enough to beat a top 8 team but a lot better than we've shown.

Boy you could tell the difference in the heart for a lot of them. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak looked like a totally different player!

Forget everything other than a win at home after a couple of years. Had a tear in the eye looking at the crowd.

Well done boys, this was very very important to the future of the club.

Great to have them back.

The bad form and loss of confidence was showing at the start with some of the attack early on as they struggled putting on points to match the amount of possession inside the Tigers 20.

That was off set though with what a home ground (also the occasion) provides. Everyone ran harder and they seemed to be doing everything a bit quicker.

Once they calmed down a bit it was a bit more of a composed performance.
