Meh, not anti Stacey, I love the legend but....
Wtf is this throw Volkman into Custers last stand for a kids debut?
Farq me that's dumb.
Hope Volkman can cope with a 50 point hiding on debut...a lot of noobs would self blame for that shit.
If you're gonna do it, you leave
Shaun Johnson out and put Asi in so both boys know they've been given a development pass to go learn and don't worry bout the result.
Leaving dinner Jacket
Shaun Johnson in puts tremendous supporting pressure on Volkman.
Shaun Johnson is on every tip sheet for no interest in taking on the line.
Warriors should have paid
Shaun Johnson double, it is clear on budget wages
Shaun Johnson is refusing to put himself out there...he was way better for the Sharks, and it ain't age....he is paying the club back for low balling him.
I'll start with the on-topic rant so this doesn't get deleted/banned

:
Volkman will be fine. Solid. Dependable. I don't think the Panthers
will put a 50 point hiding on us but if they do, outside of any bad tackling/reads that he should and would truly own, I don't think Robert will be too despondant about that result.
So, same as every other player, frankly.
Jazz, as an example, can f-word in every post-match chat as much as he likes, but I don't think he owns every defeat. And he shouldn't.
As to your comments about the Warriors should have paid Shaun double:
REALLY?!?
For me it's clear that
no matter what the Warriors paid him
Shaun Johnson isn't putting himself out there. He isn't "paying the club back for low balling him", he's "doing what you hoped I wouldn't do
again, but, yep, you Warriors management boys are
stupid, so OOPS! I DID IT AGAIN! (Cue Princess Dance and Britney Lip Sync)"
If you're right and the Warriors lowballed him,
why did he take it? It's not like he needs a job, any job. Any ESL team would have grabbed him. And you know how much they pay
any player from The Greatest Rugby League Competition
whatever they actually achieved in TGRLC...
The points about
Shaun Johnson for me have always been:
We made the Finals in his first season and his last. 2011 and 2018.
Between those two seasons, we didn't make the Top 8. So no Finals.
That's not 100% on
Shaun Johnson, but given the hype, the attention, the media love, the fan love and the position he played in the team he owns more than 50% of the blame...
Shaun has fucking
always refused to put himself out there. He didn't make the Sharks look good. The Sharks made Shaun look good.
