Damn, after missing out on my exact margin bet last week by 1 pt, I miss out on this week's exact margin bet as I decided in the end not to go for the 34 pt Panthers win I was considering 😅 Bloody Warriors hah

Edit, oh wait I remember now, the exact margin odds finished at 31+, which was paying too little for my liking hah, you're forgiven for your terrible defense this time Warriors 😘

Happy enough with the game. Knew we would be up against it. I expected they would put 40 on us so no real surprise. To be fair, the ref kept us in the game a little. Full credit to the Panthers. Deservedly the top team in the comp.

I was looking for effort and to compete from us. Very few stupid errors, some good individual efforts, I thought Shaun Johnson was better than other weeks (all relative) and our structure looked a little better on defence and we looked threatening on attack at times. We just are not good enough and they scored their tries from individual brilliance.

I think we can build off that performance. We have a shot against the Tigers, whereas I thought we would get rolled a couple of weeks ago.

Just an observation. Who said it's OK to bring the rats tail back?... half Penrith team are rocking the rat.

Although we suck, I do hope the full crowd turns up for the lads in two weeks against the Tigers.

Thought Volkman showed some glimpses that he will be a great addition to the team and is a true half (and one with a bit of ball playing ability). Showed good hands, some quick feet and vision. Didnt kick much as that was left to Shaun Johnson. Defence was ok, but had a couple of bad reads, but I wouldnt put that on him directly and say more the team structure.

Long story short, will be out long term half and be a good one at that.
